Absolutely wacky

I think that many people have decided that they'll never be able to make and save enough money to retire, so they're saying frick it.

TAMU and Texas have a shitload of wealthy alums. The people buying those won't even notice the money missing from their accounts.

Sad and true. They also won't think twice about those $1k tickets as they rush the parking lot in the 3rd.

I’m not a physician. Just an average season ticket holder who isn’t selling, which is the case for the majority who will be in attendance.

Then why make that distinction only in the case of the NFL?

Can you cite another game that had a higher average ticket price?

I cant speak to average, but the superdome only seats ~80k and I dropped $1700 for two mid-level end zone seats for the 2007 BCS game. I didn't attend in 2019, but I seem to remember the same seats were $1500 ea that year.

Regardless, thats insane for reg season games.

I don’t see this as great.

But it’s what the market will bear.

That's pretty much the way in-state rivalries work, but you don't understand because you don't have one

All of the games for Texas has been expensive. My friend sold his tickets for the Georgia game $3k a ticket.

This was before the season started.

That's not surprising given the circumstances. I expect it to be one of the highest-rated college football games of all time as well. I know I'll be watching. Should be an absolute circus.
