This isn't a pick play, it isn't even a rub route. It is a sit down route. The OPI call there is horrible.

And if I'm defending Au-fricking-burn, it is a horrible call.

It was a bad call. Also I thought that they missed a DPI on A&M in the second overtime as well. Haven’t watched it back, but it looked like the Auburn guy had the A&M guy beat running a route in the endzone and the A&M guy grabbed the back of his jersey and the ball flew overhead. Could be wrong or misremembering, though.

SEC officiating in 2024 has been a black eye for the conference. Something to look into before the 2025 season.

It’s intentional. The goal at that point was to end the game for A&M to go into next week playing for a playoff spot against arch rival Texas.

Thanks. I do not know which announcer was defending auburn over that bullshite call, but he was doing the Lord's work.

Somehow I expect Bama to be behind this because they are crooks.

That wasn't OPI at all. SEC is a billion dollar product with dime store officiating.

I know the non-call DPI you're referring to and the OPI are both judgement calls, but at least a (shitty) argument could have been made that the non-call DPI was an uncatchable pass.

That OPI is egregious.

SEC officiating has been stellar this year. I know nothing of the frickery you mention.

I wish there was a replay from the angle of the ref who threw the flag.

The aggies specialize in projection. They get every call and complain the league is rigging things for their rivals. Refs have been trying to gift a&m a title for generations and they still can't get it done.

I dunno they were both pretty bad live. The larger issue is at that point in the game it really highly impacted potential outcomes.

College officiating has gotten so, so bad.

Before we became members of the SEC I looked forward to it partly because the refs let the players play. Now I find it is selective.

SEC refs are making a major push this season for replay review of all penalties. They have been historically bad this year.

Since when is PI reviewable? It is for certain teams, evidently.

To be fair, in the next sequence the refs called a hold on the Ags that set them back 10 yards and led to them having to kick a FG. If it was truly a fix, the refs would not have called that hold on the Ags.
