Be subjective, cause most of my big12 SEC hating friends are still bitching.
Who would you let in..
11-1 Alabama (Full strength)
12-0 FSU without Jordan Travis
I mean FK fsu but what do ya'll think? I need to clear this up

Alabama
And then Georgia, over FSU without Travis

I fricking hate Alabama.
It was the right call and they proved it once they got in there.

FSU
It shouldn’t matter that a player is out. The NFL doesn’t let in a team with more losses if another team loses their starting QB or some other important player on the final week of the regular season.
With that said, it was amazing watching Michigan give them that heartbreak in The Rose Bowl as saban’s last game.

If given a choice, I wouldn’t have let the team in that needed a gift to beat Houston.

Bama for winning the sec, FSU or Georgia over texas who only made the playoffs because of an early season win over Bama.
The travesty was leaving Georgia out.

First time that bull shite ever used to say not playoff worthy. Hurt QB. How the shite does committee already know that 13-0 can’t be given chance to win. FSU defense last year was filthy. You play until you lose. They were shafted and don’t blame them for saying screw the bowl game and move on. That’s just bull shite circle jerk stuff. Hell Im not an FSU fan at all but 13-0 and can’t make it in. It’s a way to work the system to come up with bull shite reasons to have anithef team with a loss jump them.

Not surprised, to aggy nothing we do is earned, right? And if you really watched that Houston game you'd know we were using a wildly inconsistent backup QB who is now wildly inconsistent at Duke. And it was also a Houston team trying to save their coaches job and featuring a WR now wearing burnt orange who has been catching a lot of passes this year along with a few TD's.
Minor details.

quote:Because it's only "early season" for one of the teams, right? That's the weakest excuse for a loss imaginable, especially when the loss happens in your own house.

It's ok though, we're just a few short hours from whipping your teams arse...once again this one is on the road at your piggy house.

Well if we're just going by records alone, undefeated Liberty should have been in the playoffs too, no?

Not the team that lost their bowl game by 60 points.

I don't see how you can NOT seed a 13-0 conference champ.

There’s 32 teams total. 14 make playoffs.
There’s 130+ college teams. 4 make the playoffs last year.
FSU beat 1 team that finished ranked in LSU at a neutral site in week 1. Their schedule was baby shite soft and don’t deserve to get in with their 1st string QB healthy.

I would have left texas out because they had the worst loss of the one loss teams. Bama and Georgia in

Following your logic, Indiana, BYU, and Army should be ranked ahead of UTrans. They are still undefeated

If you watched any of their games other the writing was on the wall. They weren't very good, played a weak schedule and would have been beaten by three touchdowns by any team in the playoffs.
College football has always relied on these subjective decisions and it's both good and bad that we have automatic qualifiers now, because a lot of teams that have no business in the playoffs will be going to give better teams an easy win.

The ridiculousness of only having 4 teams make the playoffs is the answer.
