Why is your arena half full? I'm honestly not trolling, I'm just confused.

Because it’s 6:00 on a weeknight start. Majority of Fanbase is an hour away in Birmingham. By time they get off at 5 they don’t have enough time to make it.
And still if we played in Neville Arena it would be full. 9,000 in a 15,000 seat arena looks half empty

It’s easier for the arena to look full when you play in a high school gym.

We’d be in the same boat if we still played in cavernous old Beard-Eaves.

Students and locals saving money for meaningful football games in November?

15k capacity
if it was just the rafters that were empty I would concede that, but swaths of prime mid-court seat empty.

It should fill up a bit more soon. I really wasn't trolling though, just surprised.
For the 9k vs 15k comment, Auburn doesn't have Birmingham 40 minutes away but Auburn also underestimated the growth of the City of Auburn when they built Neville.

Basketball season tickets get you tidepride points towards football.
So you have football people who don’t care about basketball much buying tickets they wouldn’t otherwise.
Not a big deal for big games because they can sell or give away the tickets but no one who doesn’t love basketball is driving in on a Monday to see mcneese.

Weeknight, and a double digit lead on a terrible fricking team.

They don't want to sit in Coleman Coliseum

Have the lights stayed on for the whole game so far?
