And what Kirby said about it being a dangerous precedent for refs to change a call after fans stopped play by throwing shite on the field is 100%
correct.

Needs to be some further consequences to refs for not calling a penalty for delay and for allowing the home time to benefit from further review because play was stopped.

Terrible situation all around. I’m curious what even promoted the call. It was more OPI than anything.

Weird that I missed that entire part of the game. Was outside grilling burgers and brats. Can someone give me a summary?

Every team gets bad calls. That’s football.

No team gets it reversed after fans throw a fit while throwing shite. You’re the first.

Hopefully it becomes a new norm. Not the bottle throwing, but flag discussions. That was a massive play, it would have been a shame if it was erased.

I think the game is long as enough as it it. Discussing every flag will make it unbearable. Move on and beat the refs. Every team has to now and then.

Not a good look for Texas fans. Sure there are bad calls but the response by the students was over the top. There should have been a flag thrown against Tx for that. Dangerous precedent with what happened last night with the reverse and how it occurred.

The ball had been spotted for the next play, with teams coming to the line. They ONLY stopped play and started to discuss it after fans started throwing shite on the field. Had the fans not started throwing shite, the call would have remained.

The entire crew should be suspended for the rest of the season.

Somewhat reflective of today’s world and the reward for a tantrum. Ultimately, the call was correct, but the path traveled to get to the reversal was suspect….and Texas should have been penalized for the actions of the fans.

I actually think they did get it right. That said, it was an unreviewable play. What do you elitists not understand about that?

And you, sir, are a classless clown just like the rest of your fanbase. The SEC is quickly learning. At least the folks that didn't already know.
