I've never seen anything like it..... Ryan Williams and Jeremiah Smith. Ryan has otherworldly skills, especially on long routes. I haven't seen Smith yet but I've read that he should have just skipped CFB and gone to the NFL. That's just unbelievable when you are only 17 and 18 years old. They are already the best 2 WR's in CFB

Both are ridiculous especially considering their ages.

Have only seen limited action across CFB but Ryan Williams is the best WR I've seen this year. He has flair for the spectacular.

Kaleb Harris apparently didn’t get the memo that he was only a 3* recruit

Not saying he's on Williams' or Smith's level (yet), but Terry Bussey isn't too shabby.

Makes me like him even more; the kid can play ball.

Bussey has taken a little longer to get ready. He went to a small school where he did it all, so being a WR is actually pretty new to him.

Especially since he’s still listed as a DB on the roster.
Bet he’ll lead all DBs this year in receiving. ??

@ the downvotes

Simmons looks NFL ready as well, which is far more impressive as an edge as WR's have a massive early developmental advantage due to 7 on 7

Are you sure he's 17? I may have heard that somewhere, but please check it out and let me know.

Really wish he ended up at LSU. We could use him.

Those two are very talented, but take a look at Michael Crabtree's freshman year stats:

134 receptions, 1,962 yards, 22 TDs.

I just wish our QB's would quit throwing balls that hit the WR's in stride so they could show off more of their skills.

We have one in Mike Mathews but Heupel refuses to play him.

Squirrel White is the most overrated Tennessee WR I've ever seen.

I wouldn't trade either of those two for Ryan Wingo, if Texas didn't have the most talented WR room in the country he would be putting up the same numbers.

But if he would put up the same numbers, that would mean he's equal to them, right? Trading him for one of them would potentially get you an extra year of eligibility out of a superstar WR.
