IMO…

Ecstatic… couldn’t have gone any Better:

Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vanderbilt

Not a Good week but could have been worse:

South Carolina- escaped with the W, but have got to be concerned with how the team looked against what should have been a much inferior opponent.

Texas A&M- Lost but went toe-to-toe with a supposedly Top 10 opponent with a new head coach. Not at all ideal but would have been way worse had they been blown out at home.

Very Bad but not panicking yet

LSU- frustrating to start 0-1 yet again. Team should be winning these type games with all that talent and in Year 3 of HC Brian Kelly. Only reason for not panicking is USC is probably a good team and could even be really good for all we know.

DEFCON 5 Panic

Florida- worse than anyone could have predicted… way, way worse.

It's pretty clear Grindin' Brian isn't the guy for our team.
3 years and 0 first game of the season wins.

Sadly, we made a bad hire but are stuck with him for a bit.Maybe Cane's owner will rescue us

It couldn't have been much worse for SC. We'd have a loss on our schedule if ODU hadn't gifted us a win with stupid mistakes.

24. [12.8] Texas A&M (0-1)
43. [  5.0] Florida (0-1)
48. [  4.6] South Carolina (1-0)

Great post, this is really how the first few weeks of the season should be rated.

It's so stupid that ND is gonna get credit for that win like they won a playoff game already no matter how good A&M ends up being.

Really happy with our week 1 performance. 3rd quarter was shaky, but can’t really expect to play perfect against a good team first week of the season. Gotta be ready to go against Alcorn State and on the road at Georgia State these next 2 weeks. Can’t be hungover after a big win. Dores gotta stay locked in every week to make a bowl game.

There needs to be a more neutral option

Tennessee did what they are supposed to do given they are a team with a lot of veteran guys and a promising young multi-million dollar QB. Certainly pleased that they confirmed what I expected, but lets see them do it against NC State and then teams like Oklahoma. Ecstatic is too strong of a word

I think you need one higher level than ecstatic for Vandy.

Over the moon, for beating Vag Tech.

We’re way too happy.

I get it. I have the same feelings. But my brain also tells me we haven’t done a single thing.

I wouldn’t say ecstatic. We only got to watch just over 35 min of football. BVG was just hitting a stride, as was our defense.
I saw enough to be pleased and have some reasonable hope for a good season (8-9 wins if we steal 1 or 2).
TBH, the first quarter was a little shaky.
Best look was the return of complimentary football.

Shouldn’t aggy and LSU be in the ‘Ectstatic, couldn’t have gone any better’ category?

I’m pretty ecstatic about their performance.

I would have liked to seen Kentucky play a full game with Carolina up next. With that said, while a slow start, overall the game went well. Defense and ST were good, offense started slow, but you got a glimpse of what Vandabrock can do.

We will miss our starting RB again this week, but our backups played good enough.

Overall pleased.

Yep. I liked what we got to see from the Cats v Southern Miss. I came away feeling a lot less worried about Vandagriff. As terrible as South Carolina looked, we absolutely MUST win on Saturday. No excuses.

With this scale which I like btw, Vandy should be in a class of its own.
