Say what you want about Bowl games, I’m excited for ours. Opportunity to bring home a trophy for the school that hasn’t happened in 11 years. If we have a bunch of starters opt out, who cares? Show some pride for your team no matter what. Personally, I’m hoping for the Liberty Bowl or Birmingham Bowl so I can attend.

When will Auburn look at moving on from Hugh Freeze?

Retaining him because of recruiting… however his coaching these past 2 years has not been great at all… Has Auburn not learned anything about this from A&M and Jimbo?
Freeze watched Diego Pavia more than any coach in the SEC, watched him beat his team in person TWICE and didn’t think to recruit him? Guess taking a QB from New Mexico State would hurt Auburn’s reputation and Freeze ego too much. Pavia said it yesterday, they overlooked him.

Hendon was having an elite season before he got hurt. I think he left a bigger legacy for himself than just beating Alabama.

It definitely was. Obviously we knew we couldn’t beat Alabama through talent, so we forced them to play our style of football and they couldn’t handle it.
Not many people realize it, but this Ball State game is one of our biggest in years because if we win like we should, then College Gameday will more than likely be in Nashville for the Texas game. That would be an absolute award for all of us fans who have stuck with the program.

Gotta admit, I was very questionable of him going into the season. However dude proved me wrong when he was given the resources he needed to do things his way, bring some transfers in, and hire a quality staff.
I have a lot of respect for the man because it’s hard to admit what you’re doing is a failure and make mass changes, but he did and it paid off. Biggest step of his coaching career so far. Hope this season continues to go well. Anchor Down!

Really happy with our week 1 performance. 3rd quarter was shaky, but can’t really expect to play perfect against a good team first week of the season. Gotta be ready to go against Alcorn State and on the road at Georgia State these next 2 weeks. Can’t be hungover after a big win. Dores gotta stay locked in every week to make a bowl game.

I was at the game yesterday. I’ll have to give it to State fans, if anything they have some loyal baseball fans. Most of them were there until we scored 20 runs.
