Was a great play congrats to Bama for the accolade

More meaningful than technically impressive, just a beat man on a vanilla go route.

Given the stakes, I can't argue that being #1. It was a great comeback by Bama and was directly responsible for winning the national championship.

But for me, it's the Kick Six just because I've never seen anything quite like that. A returned missed FG for a TD to end a game in one of the best CFB rivalries? And it's not like it didn't have any significance. It did end 'Bama's quest for a national title and helped spring Auburn into its own title game.

Hitting a wide open WR in stride is the #1 play?

The Hunter Heave was better.

I can still see the mark on my shed after I went outside and threw my beer bottle off the back porch.

Given the stakes and how competitive the game had been? Yeah. Anyways...why are you surprised? That's been practically every offensive play in the Big 12 since 2008 or so.

Was it the #1 play or the #1 play "given the stakes"?

Exactly. It's an easy play to make and happens all the time, everywhere. That's my point.

That was 2013. One year before the SECN era.

I can see that play happening to an offensive mind like Freeze, but Kirby is unexceptable.

In overtime to win a national championship. Yes. That's a #1 play.

The no 1 play would include all aspects, especially the stakes. A walk off throw to win a NC on 2nd and 26 in overtime is going to be the no 1 play in any era.

Kick six.

I get that the Tua play was for a natty, but Kick Six was more dramatic and more of a shock.

That Bama TD in OT was the biggest play in Texas A&M football history. Aggies have never been more proud.
