Ok- Predictions always get people stirred up. Bring your flames, the 15-0 prognostications, roster overreactions. Let’s go.

First 5-
4 and 1. I think we lose to Oklahoma.

Road-tober-
1 and 2. I think UGA and Mizzu beat us.

November-
3 and 1- we get close in turd town- but not close enough.

8 wins and 4 losses is my realistic pre-fall camp prediction.

Down vote away….or not….either way let’s just argue about football. You think I want to be productive at work?! I need a good distraction.

We will be 9-2 going into the Iron Bowl. So will Bama. It will be understood going in that the winner will be a lock for the playoffs and the loser will have an outside shot. WDE!

Love the enthusiasm. I do share it.

I am just hedging at the moment on the Bama game and Oklahoma. Something tells me we might just beat Bama this year on the road.

IF we were going into T town under those circumstances or close to it, i would never rule out us pulling off the win.

I think we get Oklahoma, even though they still may finish ahead of us in the league.

That stadium will be absolutely nuts for that game, and will be the first hostile environment for their brand new QB and Oline that is replacing all of the starters from last year. Tall task for them

10 wins...no OOC embarrassments.

Improved OL means: better run game...which leads to...

Better passing game, augmented by a crop of studs at WR.

I think everyone here will think we are better than we actually are. I'll be a pessimist until proven wrong.

4 losses. Oklahoma, Georgia, Mizzu, and Bama. I think that's most likely.

Our running game potential does kinda excite me

If Thorne plays the same, agree with this but think we drop one more. 7-5

If Thorne plays better, I could see 8-4 (win the games we should) or even surprise somebody and end up 9-3.

I think we win against Alabama A&M, California, New Mexico, Arkansas, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, La-Monroe, and Texas A&M. I think there is a decent chance of beating Oklahoma. The home field advantage will really help in that game. I think there is at least a 50/50 chance to win the Iron Bowl. I think we lose to Georgia and Missouri.

I think that’s a distinct possibility. I’m trying to be optimistic about the 5 game home stand and counting on Freeze being a better game planner and grabbing an upset.

Pre-season optimism is a beautiful thing. I always begin the season with hope and too often find myself praying that the team doesn't get shut out in the later games. Praying for a field goal or a safety kind of sucks.

picked us to go 6-6 regular season the last 3 years

actually overestimated us in ‘22

see no real reason to expect any better in ‘24

still not a believer in Freezus

I'm in the same ballpark as everyone else

The OU game is THE game IMO. Auburn hasn't had a signature home win against a top 10ish team in 5 years (Alabama). Before that you have the two rivalry games in '17. Prior to that, I think LSU was #15 in 2014.

Going on 10 years without a significant home win against someone other than UGA/Bama (and even then, those only total 3 in that span).

It's a really good opportunity to make a statement for this staff IMO.

Would definitely help build the positive momentum with a win. A loss points to another meh season coming.

If there is no improvement in QB play, then 6 wins max. I'm not holding my breath. I saw some things from Thorne in what should have been an easy win (NMSU) that were distressing from someone what that much experience. I hope he was just following orders. Either way, that's a bad thing.
