Nick Saban was the cleanest and best college football coach at the same time.

A true testament to his greatness. The man never cheated one time.

The fact that anyone thinks he did is baffling to me. He literally said that Bama wasn’t paying players the way others were, but we would if we had to.

Then he retired to allow Deboer to do it because he literally couldn’t even fathom the thought. What a great man.

Well, when you sober up tomorrow and read how dumb this thread sounds, you're gonna cringe at how it ever could have looked so good when you first typed it.

I don't have any solid evidence that he cheated, but there is plenty evidence that he was whiniest bitch in the history of sports.
He was crying about something everyday.

Nick Saban was the benefactor of the College football and ESPN propaganda machine. He was a great coach, no doubt. He also was lucky enough to arrive at Alabama when the college football “old guard” needed a shot in the arm. He had a ridiculous amount of advantages handed to him to keep him and his program in the limelight. Bama fans won’t like or agree with this because well, generations of inbreeding has clouded their judgement. The rest of the football world knows it to be true.

Nick Saban changed college football forever. Saban signed 25 players every year because he processed out players who didn’t meet expectations - no one did that before Saban. Of course this is what started the transfer portal. If Saban could process players then the players figured they could process coaches and here we are.

No one really believes this outside of Tuscaloosa.

The fact that anyone thinks he did is baffling to me.

So you expect all of us to believe that dumb arse Jeremy Pruitt, Brian Niedermyer, Derrick Ansley, and Drew Hughes (Director of player personnel) all cheated for the 1st time at Tennessee? Get the frick out of here with that shite!!

All these coaches was on Saban coaching staff at some point prior to Tennessee.

Time at Bama:
Pruitt- 2007-2009; 2010-2012; 2016-2017
Nieds- 2016-2017
Ansley- 2010-2011; 2016-2017
Hughes- 2007-2011. Alabama Grad(2011)

Pruitt and staff started committing violations as soon as they arrived on campus. Thing was, NCAA didn’t catch them. So he was taught how to hide it. It was his other coaches that refused to cheat (Tee Martin) that blew the whistle on his cheating and the school president and chancellor turned him in to the NCAA. My point is that he didn’t just start cheating as soon as he leaves Alabama. And all these coaches that got show causes were all at Alabama at the same time.

literally said that Bama wasn’t paying players

Leon O’Neal Jr, was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2018 and chose Texas A&M over Alabama. He said that every Crimson Tide football player received a Dodge Charger upon their commitment while he was driving a Nissan Maxima.

Alabama had been paying players prior to Saban. In fact the FBI got involved and Alabama was out on probation. I don’t believe for one second the cheating and paying of players suddenly stopped when Saban showed up.

Then he retired to allow Deboer to do it because he literally couldn’t even fathom the thought. What a great man.

He quit because it got to tough and he couldn’t take it anymore when the playing field was leveled out a little bit and it become harder for him to recruit. Once all the coaches and schools were able to pay players openly, and talent was being spread out more, he quit.

He got scared that he would be exposed like he was in the NFL and he quit. Now players are getting paid like the NFL, and college is moving closer to the NFL model and he got scared knowing that he failed in the NFL and he got out before college went full blown NFL. In the NFL there was salary caps and he couldn’t stack talent anymore and all of sudden he wasn’t near as good. Now college teams can get talent, but they can’t stack it anymore like they could 10 years ago.

What a great man.

What a pussy!
