Noteworthy Items:

I like two weeks off better than one.

From a prior thread
—4 SEC teams get a bye before playing:
Alabama
& that’s not fair.

——3 SEC teams get a BYE before playing:
LSU
UGA
OU

not okay either.

——2 SEC teams get a BYE before playing:
Aand M
Missouri
Texas
Mississippi
Florida

—-1 SEC team gets a by before playing:
Vanderbilt
Kentucky
MSU
Arky

—-Zero SEC teams get a bye before playing:
TENNESSEE
AUBURN
SOUTH CAROLINA
lucky or smart ADs?

Oklahoma, Mizzy, Auburn and Kentucky have laughable non conference schedules.

We're used to it. Nobody cares about fair when it comes to beating Bama. Take it when you can get it. Everybody's Super Bowl.

I get it. But there is a reciprocal to it.

Tennessee and Auburn have zero.

It’s a disparity that can easily be fixed.

It also doesn’t help with the gripe that Birmingham helps y’all out and makes me look like a little bit of a liar.

Missouri Schedule

Will go 4-0
Murray State
Buffalo
Vanderbilt
@ UMass

Should go 4-0
Boston College
@ South Carolina
@ Miss State
Arkansas

2-2 or better = Playoffs?
@ Texas A&M - with a bye week before the game
Oklahoma - with a bye week before the game
@ Alabama
Auburn

Analysis
1) I'm thinking Missouri has the easiest schedule
2) Missouri might be 10-2 or better
3) Missouri has a good chance to go to Atlanta

VOLS and auburn always seem to get shafted with scheduling - about time these two prestigious institutions get a break

Damn, A&M, UGA and UF are the only teams with decent week 1 games.

Week 2 isn't bad though

Arkansas- Ok. State

Auburn - Cal

Kentucky entering conference play early with South Carolina

Texas takes a road trip to Michigan (honestly had no idea this game was happening)

Nothing says you are a little sister of the SEC big boys more than having zero teams schedule a bye before playing you. Guess losing to New Mexico St will do that to you.

It's always amazing how the most beautiful helmets always say OU on them.

I mean every dang time.

Ole Miss’ schedule is also silly. Furman, Middle Tennessee, Wake Forest, Georgia Southern.

Ole Miss should be pretty good. And they have, at least on paper, one of the easiest schedules in the league. It looks like their three road blocks are at LSU, Oklahoma, and Georgia. If they can win two of those three they should be a lock. If they can’t make it to the SEC championship game this year it may just not be meant to be.

I do like the shade of red y’all use. It really pops next to, say, an LSU helmet…

Me too! This way, I get to watch Auburn play their second biggest rival on Nov. 2 without having to miss the Bama game

This season is going to be rough, but what's new.

Looking at UF's strength of schedule is a major OOF! This is Billy's year to shine or pack it in imo.
