Puff puff give.

Not sure what you’re talking about. As my great grandmother would say: “God bless your heart.”

Harsin had too many chances, chances he never deserved.

Drink does suck. His "leaked" videos prove as much. The good news for you is this, if you play your cards right maybe you can find out in person. Good luck dummy

Because he's doing his god damn job and recruiting like a motherfricker.

Auburn should have just fired him and moved on. He isn't the right fit to recruit in the south. That is number one issue. Missouri dodges a bullet when Harsin asked for 5 million dollars and decided to hire Drinkwitz for less money.

It’s interesting because the man is brilliant in many ways. He has the potential to be #2. But, he’s also not very bright. He can just as easily be #12 depending on the day. That lack of consistency will eventually drive Auburn fans mad.

Best take I’ve seen so far. It varies week to week. In 2015, season at Ole Miss he beat Alabama on the road and two weeks later got beat by 5th place 4 loss CUSA team by two tds.

In 2014 beat Bama and gets drilled by a 7-6 Arkansas team 30-0.

His first couple of teams beat who they should have with a few surprises in there for wins.

2016 was the beginning of the end. Lost 7 games with a lot of NFL guys, Kelly did get hurt, and Shea Patterson had to step in but that was a rough end. Under no circumstance should a team with that much talent should lose the last two games by 21 to Vandy and 35 to Mississippi State

So basically you think Malzahn was a better coach than Smart because Malzahn beat Saban 2 or 3 times and Kirby Smart was 1 of 6 vs Saban.

Except Freeze won't be winning and Auburn will be letting him go when they see he really can't bring in the recruits in the NIL days.

I’d say so. Time for a contract extension.

I'll not trying to speak for Auburn fans, but I have a relative who's close to AU athletic operations. Freeze is doing his job.

He placed recruiting as top priority; he was floored when he saw the shape of that roster relative to talent. He developed a plan to re-open doors and dialog with the top high school coaches in Auburn's recruiting footprint (Harsin never even met some of them at all.) Freeze immediately made an effort to meet/greet the money men that fund the football program. He sat down with them, laid out his vision and he told them what he needed to bring AU football back to relevance in this conference.

I mentioned my family member earlier, a few months after Harsin was hired he told me that Harsin hadn't introduced himself to Jimmy Rane. Harsin had been on the damn job maybe 6-8 months and hadn't seen the need to meet AU football's biggest and most prominent donor? WTF?

He didn’t exactly endear himself when he blew off Bo Jackson either.

That was an idiot move. He never cared to learn the culture of the SEC.

Auburn’s situation is unique. The AD who hired you can’t shield you because he’s not the boss. That arrangement seems to work out ok for them. But, you have to just understand who you’re signing up to answer too. Freeze gets it.

By that logic, being that Smart was 0-2 against Coach O, I guess Kirby was the lesser coach. You know, considering the body of work.

Has 1 good season as HC in his entire career, otherwise averages 7 wins a year.

Beat Bama with Saban by 10 last year.

I knew Harsin was a huge mistake due to not being the right fit in the south and he lacked the experience in recruiting in the south. That is why I was happy Missouri went into a different direction when Harsin wanted 5 million a year. I am puzzled as to why Auburn decided to hire Harsin after Mizzou went with Drinkwitz.

What happened was that if Auburn had known that he had zero experience in the south and was not a cultural fit then Auburn would have hired someone else. Missouri dodged a bullet.
I am wondering about Drinkwitz who did okay in his first year at Missouri that made Auburn go out and hired Harsin. At one-point Drinkwitz was an assistant under Harsin. Maybe that was the reason to hire Harsin since he had been shown to be a better HC than Drinkwitz at that time.

OP stop being insane. Freeze is a has-been running a used-up Malzahn offense. And auburn is in the bottom 1/3 of the league at this point.
