Yall people laughing about Texas A&M to Big10 but it is not nearly as far fetched as it sounds.

New AD is a money man trained by a Warren Buffet Associate, which is a major reason he was hired.

New AD came from Big10 and that conference is getting much larger payments and is prestigous academically.

Yall laugh, but a lot more money and easier playoff path by becoming a Big10 "golden child" is exactly what may happen. You can bookmark this.

Aggie fans really believe they'll be a "golden child" in a league with Michigan, Ohio State and USC

I have no idea where y'all get this arrogance from. It's certainly not backed by achievements

I live in the Great Lakes.

I would get to see Aggie games on a regular basis.

Still do not want.

Aggies would rather commit program suicide than face Texas again. Absolute pussies.

In my opinion I have no problem with A&M staying or leaving.

If the Aggies can get more money from the Big 10 and decide it's in their best interest to jump ship, that's fine.

The SEC can replace them with FSU and there really isn't any significant change in the quality of the product they put forward.

A&M has value. But there are other teams with similar value available. It's not like losing A&M would leave a gaping hole in interest in the south west for the SEC anymore.

It would kind of be like losing Auburn. Yeah, it would be a shame to lose matchups with history (Texas vs A&M, Auburn vs Bama, A&M vs OU, Auburn vs UGA, etc). But the main school in the state would still be in the SEC and FSU and Clemson (Auburn with a lake) are begging to get into the conference.

If a number of teams at that level or higher wanted to leave at the same time, it would be bad. But one team? Not really.

The laughing is because you think anyone would care.

Go for it. You’ll still lose 4 games every season.

B10 golden child? SEC alumni already think aTm is weird. Imagine how strange the wine and cheese B10 alumni will think you are. You really think they will kiss your arse? You guys are so starved for attention it’s pathetic. You are like the ugly weird guy at a bar that pretty girls pretend to pay attention to because you keep buying rounds of shots with your grandpa’s money he left you.

Id like aTm to stay just so we can say we completely control Texas but we have done just fine in Florida markets and recruiting with only the flagship school there.

If he actually understands Buffett’s investment philosophy then he will know the value of sticking with a long term investment through the ups and downs instead of bolting for the quick money in a conference that has a lesser long term outlook (declining population, geographic and cultural divisions, declining programs, recruiting limitations).

Of course it isn’t. aTm is scared to death of Texas and will do anything to not be in the same conference.

It’s sad and pathetic how intimidated you are by the horns.

Before all of the great state of Texas you would be admitting your fear and inferiority of UT.

We all would know it. You know we’d know it. To do it will be the ultimate little b move.

Surely you can’t can you?

Please, for the love of God, leave the SEC and take all of your posters with you. Good riddance.

That’s definitely one way to spin y’all are scared of big brother hovering over your shoulder, and the fact y’all found out not winning championships in your big sport has nothing to do with UT.

A&M cannot take advantage of deep pockets for whatever reason. Good luck should Aggies whimper off to the B10.
