Don’t act like you dominated the Big 12 yourself. You won 3 Big 12 championships in the last 25 years. Oklahoma is the one that dominated the league and you were a far distant 2nd.

I didn’t. But we won three Big 3 titles in the 6 years before your “Hundred Year Decision.” And played for two more in 2009 and 2010.
And we’re still the last Big 12 national champions in football and baseball.
Had TAMU had the success Texas did in the Big 12, there’s zero chance you end up in the SEC when you did.

There are other sports in football. You know that, right? And Texas has won far more championships across all sports than any other team in the league (including a&m when they were in the league)

Not this crap again. It’s been objectively proven Swain doesn’t know much and is batting like .005 in most of his CFB predictions.
While I guess you never say anything is a full 0% chance, the odds that A&M moves to another league less than 15 years in its current one are extremely low. Not sure what we would gain by moving to the Big 10, and we fit in much better with the SEC.

Congrats on your championships from 15-20 years ago and all of your volleyball and swimming/diving championships I guess?
The kids in college now have no memory of those championships other than what their parents tell them. But keep living in the past and watching the 2006 Rose Bowl on repeat on the LHN

Would you frickers stop citing goddam Greg Swaim as a source? That guy doesn't know his arse from a hole in the ground.

Good. Can't stand Texas A&M. Git!

And the Big 10 doesn’t have anything like SECRant - another reason to leave

How can we help them pack?

pretty simple.. I'd rather be in the SEC personally, but I understand the appeal of the B1G on the academic side
Nice jab, but people here don't care about their schools' academic performances.. just sports. That's what's important to them.

Another piggie falling for Swaim's clickbait. Congrats on showing your ignorance to the board. I doubt most posters on here expected any less.

1996 to 2011 = 15 years in the Big 12

The big 12 < Sec, but you knew that. It’s why yall followed us here.
Everybody knows the Big 10 and the SEC are the two top conferences right now, doesn’t make a lot of sense for teams to switch between the two.
Now a Big 12, ACC, etc type team jumping to B10 or SEC on an invite? That makes sense.

Is this seriously what yall have to tell yourselves after watching the SEC court Texas while going behind A&M’s back?

Probably for the same reason horns claim Ags “ran” from the B12.
Bottom line: Both schools chose to affiliate with the nation’s best athletic conference.
No clue how/why some of y’all bicker about this silliness.

This would be one of the funniest things I have encountered in a while for Aggie. How humiliating to have this come out on the eve of Texas joining the SEC.

No, we say that because you wanted SEC to promise they’d never take Texas.

Wanting to affiliate with the SEC and not wanting to have anything to do with the horns were not mutually exclusive scenarios.
Y’all carry on with your manchild banter.

Probably because it seems to bother longhorn fans like yourself.
Did my post say anything about being a founding member of the SEC?
But mainly because when we did leave the Big 12, lots of longhorns turned their noses up and laughed at what we were doing thinking they were superior and staying put, and Deloss made a point to not play A&M teams in any sport for a while as a “punishment”. Then barely over 10 years later yall run a back room deal to sneak your way into the same conference because yall came to your senses and saw the big 12 wasn’t a good conference.

wow...what a terrible move that would be for A&M...this has to be a bad rumor started by UT alum to stir things up...
