Extend him indefinitely but don’t increase the buyout.

Is that the thing they advertised on late night commercials back in the day?

Prolly thinks Arkansas can get him

Good timing as the Louisville job just opened up.

It takes a lot more than domestic violence to get fired from the SEC. A team vote can get you off.

NGL in a perfect world, Beard would have never done something as heinous and would be the Texas coach for a long, long time. As a head coach, he’s immediately elevated each program he’s been at in comparison to their prior regime. He’s truly one of the best college coaching talents out there

I’m happy Texas handled his dismissal the way they did and all, but the longhorns were poised for success much more with Chris than they are with crybaby Terry

I think the Big 12 tries to carry itself as righteous, and that’s why y’all had to fire him. If you guys were in the SEC when that happened, and charges got dropped, he’d probably still be your coach. When Ole Miss picked him up, we were like, “they got a good one bc horn got pressured to let him go.”

I noticed it with the Briles situation. Kendall had been in Arkansas for years, Art Briles had been to games. No one cared. But as soon as Kendal went to TCU, boom! And the media flipped about Art Briles on the sidelines at a Big 12 game. Maybe it’s more so the Big 12 media that tries to be holier than thou.

When it happened, this board was saying "classless Texas only cares about winning, so they won't fire him." Then we fired him and Ole Miss hired him and the board's tune changed to "hahaha Texas fired a great coach, what losers!"

It doesn't really matter when it comes to Texas. If UT claimed the sky is blue, this board would claim it's red. You guys are like liberals with Trump.

I really think it has nothing to do with conference affiliation as much as it does independent schools, and just about every power conference school would dismiss and ultimately fire a coach that was charged with a felony for choking his fiance. In the middle of a season no less.

Not a good take

That was pretty good.

How can he say "No" when he was never considered for the position? Multiple of our insiders and people inside the Athletic Department have said Beard was never an option.

There's a reason he is signing an extension now. He knows Louisville was never going to offer him

The best recruiting job Beard has ever done was convincing his wife/girlfriend that he didn't actually beat the shite out of her.
