Eh, I’m not too fond of some of the antics he allows the players to get away with (or some of the ones he does himself) but at the end of the day his guys love him and love playing for him. And he has put out some amazing teams and churned out highly touted players in his tenure. UT was nothing for a decade before he got there, and he’s completely revamped and energized the entire program. He’d be a hell of a get, even though I don’t think he’d be a great fit for Ole Miss.
Then again the last time we hired a Tennessee head coach I wasn’t too crazy about the idea but it’s worked out pretty well so far. So what do I know

I don’t blame Ole Miss fans for wanting Bianco gone but I’ve noticed the rise in parity for college baseball more than ever. LSU has plenty of fans that somehow hate Jay Johnson but easy to point out O’Sullivan at Florida and Corbin at Vanderbilt have had some terrible seasons despite being loaded on paper. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out for one reason or another. On paper LSU is a great team but nothing is clicking and we’ve caught some tough breaks. I do think we fricked up hiring Yeskie as pitching coach though.
It’s not like McDonnell at Louisville magically forgot how to coach. I bet ole miss takes him easily and it’d still be a great fit with a change of scenery like Barnes going to Tennessee basketball. Still if I’m ole miss cliff Goodwin is the first call. When he was at LSU it was the best coached hitting team I’ve ever seen us have.

I would interested to know what Vitello’s long term plans are. He has good thing at Tennessee, upgrading facilities and their baseball NIL has rivaled LSU’s Marucci fund.
They’re going to have to pay up if/when Texas fires Pierce. If Vitello turns Texas down maybe he’s there to stay for the long haul.

It would be nice to lure Vitello away from Tennessee.

Agree. Also, this must be Bianco's last year. Natty was nice but lets not forget that was very much a team that got red hot at the end. Not an overall coaching juggernaut.

We've been run ruled 4 times already this season. Pathetic.

It would be funny if it weren’t so sad.

I don’t think we get rid of him. Honestly not sure who you go get if Godwin says no.

Right but who? There is no guarantee you trade him and see a better result. Ever since the NC we have had a whole new team each year. Can’t win doing that in baseball.
I don’t think I have ever seen such a bad fielding team and that’s just basics. He can make the throw for them.
Pitching has always been a concern and his downfall will ultimately be his unwillingness to get rid of Laff

Why not Mitch Canham from Oregon State?

Nothing wrong with him but he played there So not sure of his allegiance. I get same for Godwin and ecu but at least that’s not a power 4 school.

Thread needs a bump. Run ruled. Again. At home. On Double Decker weekend.
Please Baby Jesus-make Mike Bianco see the light and retire.

Run ruled by Alabama baseball. We need our program back.

We have lost 7 straight to Alabama.

Thanks for the memories. Name a press box after him. Time to go.

We are the worst fielding team in the league. We have the worst ERA in the league. And we don't have a regular player hitting above .300.
Somehow Auburn and Missour are worse than we are. And we will make the SEC tournament. But we don't deserve it.
Saying that, we could easily go 0-6 down the stretch with A&M and LSU.
