“Though the Seahawks had interest in Grubb from the start, one reason for waiting to make the hire official was to allow a 30-day window for Alabama players to enter the transfer portal to pass.”

That dishonesty will cause distrust in the locker room.

Yeah, there's normally a lot of February transfers going on, a month into the semester.

Seeing a lot of delusional bama fans on Twitter shaming Grubb and the Seahawks instead of their own head coach.

It’s extremely trashy.

Yep. This was obviously a concerted effort between the head coach and his assistants to fool players into sticking around. I would imagine Bama’s access to top recruits has become very limited because of this.

DeBoer is a total tool. Dishonest and manipulative, just listen to him addressing his former team trying to tell them he's leaving to take the Bama job. Read the comments and how people reacted to him in what should have been a moment of truth

You tube leaked audio of Deboers last words to UW players

Bama is so screwed with this guy. His recruiting is bad for a reason. Hows that 2025 class looking

BS. NFL programs don't wait 30 days for something silly like a 30 day transfer portal rule. Plus the transfer portal opens back up in the spring. No one was staying at Bama because of their relationship with Grubb.

Grubb wanted the Seattle job, he finally got the offer, and I don’t blame him for taking it. CFB is now a minor league professional sport far inferior to the NFL in every possible way. If I’m a coordinator looking to build a long term career, Im joining the NFL HC track as quickly as possible.

There’s more money in college. NFL would be a great accomplishment but college is where it’s at.

Also, that center probably went to Alabama for the OL coach that is now leaving as well. Intentional deception.

Have no problem with it. You have to game the system to get ahead with how it is now. If players have an issue with it, sit out.

Professional courtesy. It happens. Seattle didn’t have an extenuating timeline on when an OC had to be hired. The NFL Draft isn’t until May.

Deboer is the offense. It's like Saban losing a defensive coordinator.
