Kentucky votes Democratic all the time? That's a new one.

LOL…Mitch McConnell, Rand Paul, and majority of US Congressional Reps from Kentucky disagree.

No. They're border trash and always have been.

That jackass governor in Frankfort does not.
Yall must seem to like the guy, elected him to be governor TWICE. If he is a moderate as he pretends to be he would understand the people of Kentucky stand with Texas and don't believe illegals should be let it without following legal procedures.

Is Kentucky southern?

Go the Appalachian areas of Eastern Kentucky, then see if you still think they are "Yankees" or "Midwestern".
Hell...just watch a handful of episodes of Justified and ask the same question.
They are one of us...

Because it is. Yankees become carpet baggers at too high of a rate. Yankees and liberals are barely Americans.

Northern Kentucky looks like Ohio, so many people make the mistake that the people must be the same. Nope. Kentucky people all the way through. But North of Louisville, I’d classify them more as Appalachian than Southern. Not always the same thing, though closely related. People in Newport and Covington in NoKy are culturally closer to West Virginia than Alabama or Tennessee. But they’re still very different than the Ohioans of Cincinnati who are literally just a glance across the river.

North of Louisville would be hoosiers.

No, they're closer to Ohio than West Virginia.
I guess we got "experts" on our state.

Yes.
U.S. historians have traditionally treated Kentucky as a southern border state. There are social divisions whereby some parts of the state are more "northernese" than southern (example: Greater Atlanta is more "northern" in the southern state of Georgia than other parts of the state).
People in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois consider Kentucky to be southern, too.

You mean like Memphis, Tennessee or Miami, Florida?

I don’t know what part of Ky you’re in, but I lived in Dayton, and still have family in Newport. I go up there quite a bit. My mother’s side is from there and I spent a lot of years there growing up. Is that “expert “ enough for you?

Kentucky is not a Midwest state no matter how much it pretends or wants to be.

You lived in a location for a while.
There are some exceptions, but the majority is what I said.
And north of Louisville is hoosier territory btw. Your post didn't make any sense.
For reference, I live in the Ft. Knox area. I've lived here most of my life as have the the peeps in the areas you know so much about. Your shite is way off.
