According to Lane, he was our DC last year.

When you watched the games last year he was the first guy Nick was talking to all the time. Seems like they were grooming him. Kind of odd though with all of this he was on his way out anyway.

OL Scott huff awarded assistant coach of the year.

LINK

I'm really excited to see some good o line play from this team. It's been a few years of frustration and massive underperforming.

I think the Washington stat line was something absurd like only 7 sacks allowed for the whole year in 13 games.

Gotta get TRob back, the picture of the current staff has a few too many purple ties for how few crimson ties there are

I'm sure Kirby's next copycat move is to become the next great home for wayward former HC and Coordinator analysts

Why not? Kirby has followed the Bama Blueprint to the letter and been way more successful than any other Saban disciple. Hiring down and out coaches seems like a given.

I think it’s great if CKDB hires TRob because that’s his choice, but I really hope he’s not being pressured to hire TRob by any current or former UA employees.

I like T Rob a lot but can we please stop saying this shite. Kevin Steele at Auburn was probably the best DC in this conference for a 3-4 year period. Hell coach Saban hired him 3 different times at Alabama.

Steele was the DC but TRob called plays against hurry-up teams to avoid communication delays. This takes more involvement in the game plan than just being the position coach.

All signs point to T Rob staying at Georgia. That's a blow, who is next at DC.

Probably need to get mentally prepared for losing Caleb Downs. He's been talking to Ohio State people over DMs through social media. I imagine losing his position coach is going to push him over the edge.

Not really a blow. Just find the right DC that fits and the one that wants to be here.

I would’ve liked him for continuity and had already assumed he wasn’t going to be apart of the staff

I do find it somewhat hilarious that the guy is being touted as a great recruiter but hasn’t cracked the top 50 recruiters in 3 years

Roach has. Gillespie has. Even Courtney Morgan has lol

TRob would have been nice for continuity, but there's lots of good coaches out there. On with the process.

ETA: How about Corey Raymond as DB coach (not necessarily DC)? It would make the LSU board melt. I believe he's at Florida now, he might want off that sinking ship.
