All of my fellow Bama fans criticizing my concern answer this for me:
If instead of Saban retiring Kirby left for the NFL and everything that’s happening to us happens to them. They hired DeBoer and their best offensive and defensive starters entered the portal when he was hire. Then DeBoer told Shumann to frick off and he came to back to be our DC. And he looked at everything Kirby built and said, “nah I am going to do it exactly the same way I did it in the PAC 12.”
What would you objectively say would be the state of UGA football?
Answer honestly.
If instead of Saban retiring Kirby left for the NFL and everything that’s happening to us happens to them. They hired DeBoer and their best offensive and defensive starters entered the portal when he was hire. Then DeBoer told Shumann to frick off and he came to back to be our DC. And he looked at everything Kirby built and said, “nah I am going to do it exactly the same way I did it in the PAC 12.”

I think you're going to lose talent (players and coaching) anytime there is a coaching change.
Everyone isn't there just because they want to be at Alabama. A lot of players and coaches were there because Saban is tGOAT and they wanted to be connected to him. It's just the reality.

I know you’re not dumb so you must just be in denial. We found out DeBoer was hired way after he was announced. TRob definitely was told who they were going after. DeBoer definitely knew who TRob was before he was officially announced and he chose not to make sure he stayed.
I remember back when Saban was hired he called some of our best players, Andre Smith and JPW were two I think, before his plane landed. You guys can try to sugar coat this all you want but if any of our rivals lost their best recruiter and best player on both sides of the ball when their new coach was hired you would be saying it’s a disaster.

We love TRob, he’s a big loss. But losing him isn’t going to cripple the program FFS. He’s been here for 2 seasons.
