100% behind him. But it did jump off the screen to me when he started talking about the goal is to win SEC and National championships. The foundation of the program and the kids that were recruited here is blind to end goals. The process will lead to the goal.

His process right now should be locking down the roster.

And I respect everyone’s opinion here. I’m not shitting on y’all for having them. We all have them. Mine just differs from y’all’s. This dude just doesn’t seem to have the juice. I hope I’m wrong and I may be. But I’m no troll.

It is pretty hard to give a speech at the most legendary school that has ever existed. I felt like he did quite well considering.

With the best coach ever, who you just replaced, sitting there watching you.

I remember the behind the scenes footage of his “press conference” announcing he was leaving UT. That was wild.

I thought so too. Not like he was hired to replace someone who was fired. He needed to come and give a strong message about the foundation and how he would add to it. Just go out and look at some of the podcasts about DeBoer. His coaches and players loved the guy. He ain’t Saban aight, but isn’t supposed to be.

RescueT should have seen some of the other coaches opening press conference. Some of them are really bad.

Exactly. You guys see Kellys? Or the Auburn dude?

DeBoar was on another level - and that is in front of Coach Saban and the Alabama galley.

Some might not know but DeBoer was a really good football player, and an even better baseball player.

Hes an athlete, and most athletes speak the same language.

Im really impressed with DeBoer. I think the only thing thats up in the air is recruiting.

I hope he doesnt underestimate how cut throat the waters down here are.

And i hope his loyalty to his coaches isnt some kind of Dabo thing.

I kinda feel for him too. Almost all these pressers are after a guy gets fired & you can talk about how you're going to change everything & get the program back to where it should be.

I'm 1000% sure he will not underestimate it at Alabama. They saw what happened at Auburn, and with the Alabama staff that handles that stuff (not the coaches, but the actual employed staff) and Saban still there, NO WAY he will not do that.

Byrne said he was 10-1 against the top 25. This dude has one hell of a coaching resume.
