Any of the “Insiders” hear anything about what was said during the players meeting?

He wins 10 games next year, which is very doable, and we are top 10 easy.

I know some don’t like to “mix” faith and football but I for one was happy to see this.
Indeed, Kalen DeBoer is a devout Christian, and his faith is a foundational pillar in his personal and professional life. Numerous sources affirm DeBoer's commitment to Christianity, shedding light on how his religious convictions intersect with his coaching career.

What is a realistic time frame for Coach D to outline who he is going to retain from the prior staff?
And please tell me he is bringing his OL coach with him.

Bigger question, did anyone ask Coach DeBoer his philosophy on time outs? I’m mean, we can’t just be using those all willy-nilly.

Bamachief has a connection to the meeting. I hope to hear some positive feedback.

I kind of feel like that relieves some of the pressure having a 12 team playoff now. You can afford to lose a game or 2 and still be in good shape. Harder road maybe but should be sitting pretty good s as far as making the playoffs in his first year.

SIAP: Found the one game Coach K schemed against us.

I wonder if the final question in the interview process with DeBoer was “how is your line dancing skills?”.

Was just watching the highlights. Not sure how much can be inferred from that. It was just his second game as the OC at Fresno State and often the cupcake in those games plays it close to the chest the same way the big program does. They don't want to put a bunch of important stuff on film in a game they basically have no chance of winning.

This seems like a good sign.

Ya I feel like people saying “who wants the pressure of following Saban “ are getting it all wrong. You just have to split with your rivals essentially and have 2 losses max and you’re guaranteed a spot in essentially. Bar is way lower to get into the playoffs. Then it’s a new season. Pressure of going undefeated to make final 4 is completely gone.

After a night of rest, I've decided Saban needs to hang around as very little as possible.
No one wants someone looking over his shoulder nit picking every decision. Saban himself wouldn't put up with it and neither should Deboer.
Perhaps Saban can play some role as "player recruitment ", if he wants. Something not tied to coaching the team

I dug a bit on his career. At Sioux Falls he was very run heavy but that was mid 2000s. As an OC he was always very balanced with slightly more rushing attempts. As a head coach at Fresno and Washington, hes also been very balanced but with more pass attempts than runs. Its gonna be a very balanced offense at Bama. If Milroe is QB, youd have to assume its gonna lean slightly to running the ball.
Regardless, the man wins
