I’ll admit, I wasn’t a fan at the beginning of the year. But the D was the only unit that got better as the year progressed. I’m a fan of him now.

kinda hit a wall

I don’t know about hit a wall. QB could not find open receivers and when he did, majority of his throws were inaccurate.
I really am hoping that is all it is to it. And if so, I can understand. I can’t even image how this season would have turned out if more had transferred. This is a new age in college football with coaching changes, teams are going to poach. Heck they are poaching without coaching changes.
If we had a qb that could read a defense, adjust, not get easily rattled and make short to intermediate throws, we would have beat ut this year.

At this rate we may not have a team to play them. LOL. I kid, I kid.
“Jimmy Johns“
Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in awhile.
Texas’s season just keeps getting better each week. They get Clempson and Arizona State. That a straight shot to the semifinals. ??
The Vandy loss was bad, but that team that showed up (or didn’t show up may be more believable) at OK was atrocious. Like they had never played a football game before atrocious.
With the same result. Clemson,SMU and Indy will all be like scrimmages for the teams they are playing.

I think Bama is in no matter the out come of this game. Just watching it I think both teams are trying to keep it close. Or both of these teams suck!

I am more curious about the OL coaching hire. I feel the new OC is already on staff.

I may be in the minority here, but I have no issue with him going to Seattle. I mean it does suck, but you have to look at it through his eyes. I mean it is the NFL. Isn’t that everyone’s big goal? Now if left for another CFB lateral move, different story. As for the quote “ I am your new OC” or whatever was said, the only other thing he could have said is his name only and left it at that. But that would have raised questions for some people especially on here. Like I said, I have no issue for someone moving on to improve their life and career goals.
This is why I’m not getting all worked up. Let the money chasers go. We have guys that want to be here now. And the portal works both ways once it opens back up for all. Not to mention recruiting to finish out the 24 class.

Where the frick is this 8-4 shite coming from

Exactly! The portal taketh away, but also will giveth come Spring. I’ll hold judgement until the dust settles then.

Hasnt he been put in charge of recruiting the existing team

He is over the NIL for the players. People should read up before they spout crap.
Already making calls to current players and families. He’s hit the ground running!
I kind of feel like that relieves some of the pressure having a 12 team playoff now. You can afford to lose a game or 2 and still be in good shape. Harder road maybe but should be sitting pretty good s as far as making the playoffs in his first year.
Any of the “Insiders” hear anything about what was said during the players meeting?
It gave them hope when he retired. They just don’t realize what’s coming next yet.
