It's got to be some sort of medical evaluate took place post season and it's not feasible to continue right now. I think he finished the season hoping for an improvement and that didn't happen. I suspect it is him, but it might be someone close.

I have always thought Kiffin would succeed like crazy at Bama. Still do. Kiffin Smart Sark. All of them would succeed here. Kiffin seems to be the only possibility .

Saban is going to announce his retirement but will defer the retirement to 2027. This way it gives Alabama time to find someone.
