You can't think about saban all off season if you don't start early

Sark or Kiffin would be fabulous. It would not be a money issue with Sark. It would be boosters running his program, his recruiting, to the extent he wants out. Kiffin would come in a NY minute, and I do not think he would wilt under the pressure.

yeah, Sark is the toast of the town in Austin right now, but he can't wait to go get screamed at by mentally ill Gump fans at Bama

I used to think it would be Dabo. It still might be but he's lost quite a bit of luster lately. He could still turn it around. They would definitely be tempted to call him home to Mama.

Kiffin no. But damn it would be funny as shite to reboot Kiffin's Krimson Korner.

Sark is about to get his shot at the SEC and if he continues to do well I see no reason he'd go to Bama. If he has Texas back for real (we shall see) then why make a lateral move?

I'm convinced Saban will never die or retire. He'll be here for another 20 years just to frick with us.

Hardest job in America will be replacing Saban because of expectations.

And if Saban's replacement fails to meet those expections, he will ride off into the sunset with an eight figure buyout.

Man, that's a lot of pressure, isn't it?

If for some reason Alabama decided they wanted BK he would get an ear burn from hanging up the phone so fast and running for the airport in Baton Rouge.

That's all we could say with a very high degree of certainty.

Everything else is silly speculation.

I kinda like the idea of Dan Lanning from Oregon to take over for Saban. Great young coach with time under both Kirby and Saban who has guts and a big enough ego to not shy away from following Saban. He's more of an East Coast guy so unless he just absolutely loves Oregon I could see him taking the job if offered

I'll put it this way: if Bama wants Sark that will mean he's put together a few good seasons at Texas and that will also mean we want to keep him. Sorry Gumps, the other UT is also a destination school..time to board the Lane train or hope Kirby is getting tired of Athens.

Would do well, but I can't see him leaving Oregon who plays an easier schedule even once they move conferences to be Saban's replacement. That's a pressure cooker of a job. Who knows though.
