The largest margin of victory against a top 5 team in the history of the AP polling. Dating back to 1936. Not just bowl game, but all games against a top five program.

Most years UGA would have still gotten in.
This year was unique in that there really 6 deserving teams. A 12 team playoff this year would have been awesome

Tell that to the ACC Commissioner, who led the charge against expanding to 12 this year.

Wow! This thing keeps getting better and better.

Cheating Michigan has no business being within a 100 miles of any bowl. They should have been disqualified
Why play by the rules when there is little accountability when you don’t?

I'm watching this game thinking there is no way in hell that Washington would beat this Georgia team.

I agree. I’ve only seen UW a few times and not for an entire game either time. From what I did see I don’t think they could beat half the teams in the SEC.

Congrats on running up the score against FSU's scout team.
While its FSU's fault for giving up and having so many opt outs in a game which was VERY important for their program.
However, last night 's game means absolutely zero. We still don't know if the real FSU starting lineup would have won or not. Game meant nothing besides showing that the FSU coach is not instilling an ideal culture down there. Means nothing about UGA though.

That’s a lot to type just to be super melty. It’s unfortunate you can’t understand the implications of a game like that.
Edit: it’s fricking Whiskey isn’t it.

We don’t know a lot of things..we playing the “what if”/ “we don’t know”game? What if Texas had played bama at the end of the season when they were gelling, what if uga hadn’t dropped 5 spots for losing for the first time in 100 years by 3 pts to a bama team that’s gonna win the cfp. And let’s not start on what if bowers lmao What if ?what if? man take that loser sh&t somewhere else
Ugas 3rd stringers and walk ons are still running for touchdowns against FSU.make’m stop

The FSU team that soundly beat LSU was not a fluke.
The FSU defense was as good as the better SEC defenses.
There simply isn't any rational argument for leaving out an undefeated P5 conference champion.
Nick Sabin had to ambulance chase Jordan Travis and cry "disrespect" in order to sucker punch FSU.
It should have been Michigan vs Texas and Washington vs. FSU.
The SEC simply didn't deserve a slot this season.

No team in the country looked truly elite this year. Bama lost to Texas and needed a miracle to beat Auburn.
And UGA struggled big time with Georgia Tech and Mizzou. FSU blew out Ga Tech 41-16.
What exactly did UGA do this year to convince you they would without a doubt win against FSU's entire starting roster?
There's a good chance it would have been a toss up game down to the wire.

You mean the FSU that beat 6 loss Boston College by 2 points (failed BC 2 point conversion) and had to go to OT with a bad Clemson??
Georgia was always better than FSU as represented by every single weeks poll but the one BS one for last CFP.
We fricked up…bonked fg, shitty ref call, fumble. We know it..we came out and played hard when we could have FSUd it..but we didn’t.

Beat them 63-3.

No telling where the betting odds would have fallen if Florida State would have fielded their best roster, but it obviously would have been much closer than the 21 points right before the game.
In my opinion, a Washington vs. FSU pairing would have provided a good game to watch.
The CFP arranged a fixed playoff bracket that isn't going to produce a legitimate champion this season.
