Should have stayed in the transfer portal.

Ain’t no telling. Wild situation to be in.

Portal not going to stop this court date. This misdemeanor charge isn’t going to stop him from starting anywhere else next fall too. He’s on some R. Kelly shite for real though. Away games gonna be rough for this dude.
Edit: to be clear, not really saying this in support of Pritchett. Just being realistic.

Wonder if he dropped the whole portal thing because he knew he was about to be charged . . . will be impossible for him to find a new team.
He is definitely screwed (no pun intended).

The statute he's charged under does not differentiate between STDs, so probably not. Fortunately for the victim the only way stupid can be sexually transmitted is via pregnancy though.

There's lot of speculation. WE don't know the situation....

It takes two to tango. Keep your knees together, ladies. Be adults, men.

Yes, but appears only one had a STD and knew it. Sorry POS

IF he is guilty of this, then he deserves to be drug through the mud and all that comes with this. I say “IF” because T’town has its share of “cleat-chasers” that are looking to latch on or get a quick payday.

UPDATE - The Tuscaloosa Municipal Court granted Alabama reserve tackle Elijah Pritchett youthful offender status on Thursday, following his Wednesday arrest.
The Tuscaloosa Thread reported on Wednesday night that Pritchett had been arrested and charged with knowingly transmitting a sexually transmitted disease, which is a Class C misdemeanor crime.
A person can qualify for youthful offender status if they are between 18 and 21 years old. The designation allows for a defendant to likely have a lighter sentence and more importantly seals the record of the criminal charge from the public.
There has yet to be any statement or comment from the University of Alabama. The next time Nick Saban is scheduled to meet with the media will be in Pasadena, California at Rose Bowl media events.

There are other STDs that have historically caused people to be pissed enough about to file lawsuits over. Herpes, for example, is painful, and can't be cured (and the person would have to know they had it, and should take precautions). I'm not speculating about this situation, just stating it's not unheard of for people to sue over STDs.

After a brief Google, which can't be trusted, I have determined it is probably not Aids, as that looks like it would be a felony. Could be HPV..

Herpes
This was my immediate guess only because I seem to recall the singer Usher getting sued for this one.
Here’s a story on it with a magnificent headline: Singer Usher Finally Done With Last Herpes Lawsuit, Wraps It Up
