I was admitted to the hospital this evening with flu. A blood clot was found in one of my lungs. I would be deeply grateful for prayers.

Hang in there man. I was hospitalized with the flu and pneumonia last year. Definitely scary.

LRB 1967 - Please don't hold it against me, but I am not much on prayer. Long story, but you and your family are certainly in my thoughts. All of us here are better for your presence, and in times like this, all of us could use a real-life dose of perspective. Hang in there, War Damn Eagle. I hope you have the best medical care available, and...you will get through this. Merry Christmas, prayers aside, my best memories in church growing up were the Christmas trees put up and decorated at AUMC, the choir, Christmas hymns. I hope you can find a little extra strength and courage during this holiday season and that you have family and friends to support you in your struggle. I know you have that on this board, if that means anything. You are very much in my thoughts. You got this. War Eagle. John
