If undefeated win out:
Michigan 13-0
Georgia 13-0
Florida St 13-0
Washington 13-0

Alabama, and Texas wins:
Michigan 13-0
P12 Champ 13-0/12-1
Florida St 13-0
Texas 12-1

Alabama wins, Texas wins, and Florida State loses:
Michigan 13-0
Pac-12 Champ 13-0/12-1
Texas 12-1
Alabama 12-1

Essentially Alabama needs Texas or Florida St to lose to get in the playoff even with a win over Georgia. Pac-12 is Guaranteed a playoff spot regardless who wins, and Michigan is basically guaranteed to win their conference championship game. Alabama is in an extremely weird spot where they have a tiebreaker loss to a potential conference champ that's ranked higher than them. It's a log jam of mediocrity at the top this year and could be pretty weird if human bias makes some decisions.

SEC champion is in, 100%. I think FSU would get left out in this scenerio. What has FSU done, beat one ranked team?

But FSU did beat UF! Isn't UF in the SEC? That got to count for beating one of the SEC team. But I totally agree with you that FSU almost lost the game against UF. Florida isn't even bowl eligible.

"Eye test" isn't either but that's what they've used all season.

What’s silly is that Oregon is ranked above Alabama and Texas to begin with.

I can certainly see them above Alabama. Alabama should have lost to Auburn, beat Arkansas by 3, beat A&M by 6, and lost to Texas at home.

I dunno. Bama was a big underdog to the Dawgs in 2021 and yet won the game in convincing fashion. I think this year is similar and Bama is playing really good football at this point in time. They could beat the dogs and force their way into the playoffs.

Home loss to Texas is worse than a road loss to UW
What no one is looking at as a deciding option is Texas who would have the worse loss out of everyone having lost to a two loss OU all the other teams in these discussions would have lost to a one loss or less team other than Texas.

In:Undefeated Conference Champs, (Mich,UGA,FSU,possibly UW) One loss Conference champs who lost to one loss or less teams (BAMA,Oregon)

Out:One loss conference champ that lost to a team with multiple losses (Tex)

One of Okie's losses was a bad loss to 8-4 Kansas. Not a good look, and not a good look by the Horns to lose to the Sooners.

By that metric alone Texas is out. I know losing to Oklahoma isn't as bad as losing to Nicholls, but good teams win this type of game

A 12-1 SEC Champion is NOT getting left out the playoffs

If Washington beats Oregon they are in the Playoff. No way a13-0 UW team would fall out of the top-4 and lose their spot to a one-loss team. That would be unprecedented.

I don't know why all these people are picking Oregon to win, Washington already beat them once

For the eye test, early this year I would say Oregon had the edge but in the last few games I think it's evened up.

maybe before the Auburn game; rivalry weekend looked a lot better for the Ducks & worse for y’all

You’d have to pistol whip Georgia to have a chance
