Yeah. Sources say Mizzou is a lock for Citrus vs Iowa

Peach Bowl brah.
No SEC teams in the Cotton Bowl this year.

You figure Bama vs Tulane for the Peach.

Peach bowl vs Penn St. At least that's what a couple projections say.

Maybe they’ll play kansas this year.

Ole Miss vs Iowa- Citrus
Mizzou vs Tulane- Peach
Texas vs Alabama/Penn State - Cotton
Washington/Oregon vs Alabama/Penn State- Fiesta
Don’t disregard Wash/Oregon vs Ohio State either.

Mizzou will jump Alabama Sunday.

From what I've seen Bama (projected to lose to UGA) gets the Cotton and Mizzou gets the Peach.

If Bama wins the SEC championship game and Mich Wash and FSU win the SEC probably isn’t getting in the playoffs. In this scenario UGA and Bama probably find NY6 bowls and Ole Miss and Mizzou get the boot. If UGA wins the SEC Mizzou will likely get a NY6 and Bama and Ole Miss get yeeted.

Tulane does not deserve a NY6 bid. It really should be the top 12 teams as selected by the committee.
We already beat that arse and whoever gets Tulane gets an automatic win.

This would be the only situation where I pull for Bama, but if they win the SECCG I could see them jumping even Texas because they beat Georgia.

If Alabama wins I can’t see them leaving the SEC out. Especially with Saban at the end of his career with 12 team playoff coming. They’ll lose a lot of viewers and money. There’s already talking points of how amazing it would be if they stop Georgia.

That'd be a great matchup, too.

I just don’t see how you Justify Bama in the situation I laid out assuming Texas wins. They need FSU and Wash to lose so Texas is in then you can argue they deserve slot 4.

Other poster had a good point, Saban is at the end of his career, 12 team playoff next year, if Bama wins, which I HIGHLY doubt they will… Milroe just isn’t that difficult to stop, it’s possible they get left out but they will have beaten #1 and only one loss to a top 5 team. The more I think about it the more I can’t see a scenario where they leave Bama out if they win.
