I'm so confused by the whole SMU, USC, Arkansas coaching triangle...I know SMU is joining the acc, but it still feels like a downward move. USC isn't a storied program, but they have some history. Then you have Musselman leaving a program with 5 times the basketball prestige, legacy and probably NIL collective to go to a program just abandoned by someone who was willing to take a downward path to escape. What the hell is going on?

Doesn't seem that complicated. One guy wanted to be on the west coast and one guy didn't. Seems pretty cut and dry to me.

This. Muss has maybe 10 years left of coaching and is a west coast guy.
Only one school had a no buyout clause and that wa sand diego.

I did get a good nights sleep last night, so that’s good.”

Tonight, rewatch @AlabamaMBB’s path to the Final Four on @CBSSportsNet
Turned it over there and they’re showing a cornhole tournament WTF. Even the DVR has it listed as Bama vs UNC.

I like Leathers.. I mean Mulkey lol.
Seriously though, I wish she were from Alabama and came home to Tuscaloosa instead of Baton Rouge.

Maybe it was a corn hole match between Bama and UNC? I’m joking…

Oats is giving away his advantage.
No he isn’t. Much like Saban’s process, the system isn’t secret.
Lots of people know what he does. The magic is getting it implemented at a high level.

And finding players willing to buy into it. That's the hardest part.

Oats is a math guy so it comes natural.

This dude on Twitter or X or whatever said,

One of these things needs to happen tomorrow:
1) we win…don’t care how it happens…would be AWESOME!!
2) Boz, Crimson K, and others in Phoenix need to help me give these players and staff a standing ovation regardless of how much we lose by.
I’m so proud of this team and all they’ve accomplished when it would have been easier to just fade into the night after the end of the regular season!! Remembering how they answered Clemson’s 3s shot for shot in the 2nd half still gives me chills. Pringle’s Herculean effort on the boards and the line, MoDs heroics against GCU, Sears hitting 5 straight against Clemson, Grant vs. UNC, Rylan’s consistency on both ends, Estrada’s effort plays, Stevenson vs. Clemson….wow, what a run!!!!

Anyone who thinks Bama needs a miracle to beat Uconn, go watch the highlights of their blowout loss against Creighton. They look pretty mortal to me.
Their star center, Clingan, is just big. He's slow and only plays 22 minutes a game. I think Oats is going to have 5 shooters on the floor a lot. That will get him out of the lane or give us open threes. On defense, we'll sag off a couple of their poor shooters to double Clingan. We're going to dare them to try to outshoot us.
I think it has a good chance of working unless all our bigs foul out and/or uconn's subpar shooters turn into Steph Curry.
I'd feel pretty good about this game if Uconn didn't have so much length on the perimeter. As it is, I think we have a puncher's chance.
