It was pretty cool when both teams were trading threes. Love how we don’t stop pushing the ball and answering their shots.

After the frontcourt had been the weakness of the team for most of the season it's fitting that we get Grant Nelson, Nick Pringle, and Jarin Stevenson legacy games in the tournament. Couldn't be happier for those guys.

Don’t forget MoD…we lose the GCU game without his heroics. He scored 9 straight points for us from 5:21 left to 2:25 left in the game, including multiple O-boards and blocks. He literally won us the game in the last six and half minutes until they had to foul us for free throws.

This whole F4 run has been historic, career performances by our 4s and 5s that you wouldn’t have expected, mixed in with incredibly consistent guard play! I absolutely love this team and can’t believe they’re the ones that got us over the hump!

Can’t believe this is the team did it either. Last year’s team and the ‘21 team were better, but this is the bunch that got over the hump.

Goes to show that the key is consistently making the tourney year after year. Eventually, you’ll get hot or the bracket will break right or both. With as consistent as Oats has been, I don’t think this will be our only trip. It won’t happen every year, but I don’t think this is some one off at all.

Just bring SOG back. He deserves to be part of this historic moment. Boz bring him back. Give him Easter pardon. Find it in your heart. Pardon him. Forgive his sin.l

Boz probably can’t make that call.

Oats seems to have learned that sometimes you just have to call a TO but I actually love that his first impulse is to push the ball back up as quickly as possible and answer!

It's certainly a key part of his idea that you take some punches but the overall plan is to intensify the hectic pace at every juncture.

Rylan Griffin has had a few of our biggest shots of the tourney in these situations too.

When UNC had the breakaway dunk to take the lead. Their players were chest bumping and exhorting the crowd who were all on their feet. 5 seconds a later it's Griffin hitting a three.

Last night, he did the same thing starting that flurry of threes. Once in the first half too.

This run has really been hero by committee!

Sad that he’s not here with us. Wish they would bring him back.

I have to rewatch last nights game now that I can enjoy it without near death levels of blood pressure. That second half was wild. This team is special.

I think this team is better than ‘21 overall - that ‘21 team was better defensively. And this years team has something more valuable than the talent of last years group - experience. Sears, Nelson, Estrada, Pringle, and Wrightsell have been in college a while, and Griffin is playing like an upperclassman compared to last year.

I think Stevenson grew from a boy to a man last night. He was shooting the three ball with confidence. Like he was in the gym by himself. I’m very proud of the young man continuing to work on his craft and let them hang in the biggest game of his life. Congrats young man you deserved it.

After the 2 air balls, I thought he might slip into a funk, but he had like 3 more absolute dagger threes after that. The grin he was flashing before one of the media timeouts told the story of how much he was feeling it.

Griffen stopped the two most important runs the last two games with a 3. Kid is clutch.

That was probably my favorite play of the UNC game.

Bacot slams down a dunk. The UNC crowd is cheering and their players are still celebrating with each other.

Meanwhile Bama is already down the court and Griffen immediately hits a 3 to destroy their momentum. Love that he and Stevenson did the same thing last night back to back. That stretch of made 3's by both teams was wild.

Just watched the game again.

What Pringle did last night was really just unfathomable. Just beating Schieffllin and Hall to the boards over and over, drawing fouls, tip ins, making free throws and honestly he left 6 points on the table early in the game with a slow start where he did everything right but finish the bunny.

Sears 5 threes in a row...

Griffen repeatedly hitting clutch 3s

Nelson solid defense, but what really stood out was how many fouls he drew against their bigs in limited minutes on rebounds. The answer dunk he had after PJ Hall nearly tore the rim off on the previous play.

Estrada still struggling a bit shooting but did his normal 10, 8, 5 everything else performance

I have questioned what exactly Stephenson is for us the past month. He silenced me last night. Not really the 3 pointers. His defense was great and he had multiple pick and rolls that he finished perfectly.

I didn't realize how good we had to play to beat them until watching a 2nd time, we may have played better against them than UNC

That elite 8 run we had und Gotfired was similar. We lose everybody and go deep bc of chemistry and Pettway being a better ball distributor than MO Williams.

Those were both awesome plays. But the refs figured the fans would rather see a bunch of free throws from some touch fouls.

Some of the calls on Hall were pretty legit. But they blew at least 3 bad whistles on Nelson.
