My ex works there, won some awards...

Thankfully I no longer feel like I gotta support them, I did even though I didn't. After while incident last year, it's been well highlighted in how alabama basketball is approached in this state.

Frick them, let's roll tide

At 1819 News? I'm not sure they even have a sports section yet. What did they say about Bama basketball?

My 39th Bday is Monday… I don’t ask for much but Bama winning tonight would easily be the best Bday present I’ve ever gotten

Emotional day for a lot of Alabama fans, players and coaches. I have been going to Alabama basketball games since the early 80's. Lived through seeing some teams that could play with anybody during the Wimp Era, but fall short. Was in attendance to witness us play the sweet 16 game against Loyola Marymount who averaged an NCAA record 122 PPG. I watched us refuse to take open looks and layups because we insisted on slowing down the game and eating every second of the shot clock and then get back on defense. Loyola had not been held below 90 points the ENTIRE season. Alabama lost on the final shot 62-60. I had been to quite a few games prior to that in Tuscaloosa, but that day I realized how much I wanted us to one day get our opportunity.

The past 5 years have been fantastic, but today is the chance for this team to become immortal to a lot of Alabama fans. 03-04 Alabama will always be a really special team. But I have been waiting a long time to see the words Final Four and Alabama used in the same sentence. Go beat Clemson's arse.

Woke up with a pit in my stomach. Like I would for a big football game. Gonna be a long day waiting for tip-off.

Wyatt Fulton’s simulation has Bama winning 87-77. He’s 3-0 with his simulations so far: Tweet

1819 News does indeed have a sports section.

I certainly hope 1819 catches on because AL dot com has become unreadable. They can't write a single story without some kind of left leaning angle to it or going overboard to shed some sort of negative light on every story they write.

I was glad to see Zona pressing and making Clemson work toward the end of last game. The UNC/Bama game seemed faster pace, and Sears played all 40 with Grant at 36 and Estrada at 35. All Clemson starters were at 30+, but again, at a bit slower pace.

Hoping our pace can wear them out a bit and that our guys legs are fresh enough to shoot well again (can’t imagine we’ll shoot over 40% from 3 with tired legs, but hopefully can still be 35% or better).

Absolutely incredible that this team has a shot at Bama’s first final four ever, without one of the best players on the team being available. Nate’s been preaching “Next,” somebody make a shirt with a picture of this team with #Next on it where the money goes to the players for NIL and I’ll immediately buy 3 of them.

PSA: if we lose tonight it's OK to be pissed and disappointed, but this is our 3rd legit shot at a Final Four run in 4 years, recruiting is going as well as it possibly can, and Oats has proven to be a great postseason coach. There is absolutely nothing whatsoever to feel negatively about regarding the program as a whole. The breakthrough is a matter of when not if at this point.

I completely agree with your sentiment, and generally feel this way.

But the Bama basketball battered syndrome in me wants to say we would have thought the same thing with Wimp and there’s a lot more parity in CBB today with teams like Gonzaga, SDSU, FAU, etc. Also, Cal won’t be at KY forever, and I assume they’ll upgrade and figure it out at some point. Let’s just win tonight and erase all doubt!!!

From what I've read about that case Terrance probably isn't guilty of that either. Not sure how he could have even been arrested with the proof they have so far.

I barely slept last night, so ready for the game today. Not sure I'm going to be very productive this weekend.

I'm assuming Wrightsell will be out but still think we bring home the win. The main concern is PJ Hall. He lit us up for 21 points last time, going to have to figure out a way to contain him a bit.

Read a stat the other day regarding Clemson's opponent 3P% and how awful it's been lately, doesn't sound like they're even playing at an elite level against the shot, just opponents have been missing a ton of looks. Hopefully, we start hot from deep.

I second this post.

This was a rebuilding year from roster to staff. I thought this was a fringe tournament team in December. They're playing in a regional final during a rebuild year.
