I just can’t praise Grant enough. I said earlier in the week he’d be the weak link in this game due to his lack of boards and strength on boxing out. He must’ve seen my post cause man he balled out.
this game right here was why he was a coveted transfer and he finally showed why at the best time.
He’s gotta do the same on Saturday against Clemson who’s already beat us, both teams are hot but i like our chances. He was 4/15 that first game, if he plays like he did tonight we get em in the revenge game.

Somewhere, coach made a decision to have Nelson take in down... That play with Sears following Nelson was excellent. The other play where drew 2 defenders to the 3 line and tossed to Nelson... Great switch up in strategy. It's as of coach knew we needed a big man. Way to step up, Grant!

I had to stop watching from about 6:45 on the clock to about 4:30 left. Did Pringle do something special during that time?

I mean there aren’t that many things you can do but face guard and switch all picks…. I actually wanted Bama to throw the ball very high like a jump ball to the other end and see if they could catch it cleanly and get a shot off in 1 second…

sometimes a team may show man but switch to zone. Will the opposing team have a defender on the ball? How many guys do they have half court and up? Do they have a defender under on the opposing freethrow line. ect ect...

He was awful tonight. There is nobody any better however. Hope he recovers and has the game of his life vs Clemson.

They are not going to play zone on an inbounds to the other end… if it was an inbounds under your own basket then yes

And Grant Nelson had bad games the first 2 rounds. Look at him tonight. How about we quit shitting on these guys, they just made an Elite 8. Preaching to myself as well, I was super critical of Nelson before tonight.
