Will Aggee's patience with Jimbo run out if OU and TX start having more...

... more immediate success than they've had?
No doubt. It would get ugly in Collie Station real quick.
Get ready for more nervous awkward meth-induced laughter from Jimbo.

Don’t think that’s nervous laughter. Think he’s trying to hold it together knowing he’s committing highway robbery in broad daylight.

Aggy has already made it clear.
It doesn't matter if Jimbo has a losing season after 5+ years on the job, as long as he can beat a team that he wasn't supposed to, that will carry the fanbase into the offseason.
That, and Aggy can't afford to fire him.

There's no one better right now that they would replace him with. They would go into the cellar if they fired him. Just ride it out.

Aggee and Collie in one post? You are a comedic mastermind magician

Yes . . .we ran off R.C. Slocum when Saban, Stoops, and Mack all arrived on the scene. He was the epitome of A&M insider and had won the Big 12 just a few years before.
We will find the money to run off Jimbo in the off chance Sarkisian and Venables really get those programs going, which is still a question mark (for Sark especially) but both are making huge strides this year.

Two top ten teams, will play for a conference title and possibly a playoff spot, and they are the question marks.
Never change, aggy.

Oklahoma has participated in and not shown well in the BCS playoffs for how many years? I don't see why this year is any different.
And yes (moron) Sark is still in show me mode because this year represents the pinnacle of his success and he just blew a rivarly game to a less talented team.
This board is not good with nuanced thinking nor facts.

Nervous...would you be nervous if you got an insane payout no matter how bad you fricked up???

If aggie loses at home to Texas next year, that will be what motivates the top tier sheep rapists to pony up daddy's money to oust Jimbo.

Why would Jimbo be on the way out?
He's been instrumental in getting the SEC four straight national championships.

This is it pretty much exactly. Give us fans something to build our castles in the air on for next year, and Jimbo will stick around until his payout is less than $20 million.

Well those games were under LR. We can actually play defense now.

I would think he is more giddy than nervous. Either way he wins the lottery guaranteed.

Ok, I must live a really sheltered life.
I'd never heard "Collie Station" before !
Outstanding !

Aggie is used to being the little brother to the tea sips and the pesty nephew of OU. Their patience ran out with Slocum and every coach since, so yeah....nothing new.

As an Aggy, it's not a good look for you to use playoff success in an argument.

Oklahoma performed very well in 2000, 2003, 2008, and at the Rose Bowl against Georgia. Poorly in 2004, and against LSU and Alabama under Riley.
Aggies never, ever qualified for anything except a peanut bowl. And chickened out of a bowl game against Wake.
