I chalked up the horrible secondary performance against FSU's receiver versions of Shaq. It turns out it wasn't just the height of their WR, as Arky proved.

I still think 7-5.
They give great effort, but the style of football we play is excruciatingly hard to watch. I think our OL sucks arse without our starting center and if he is out we will lose to Kentucky this weekend.

I think 7-5 for this season for Mizzou. I am even pushing it.

Honest assessment:

--We're getting better on offense. We finally stopped trying to screen pass our way to victory and got back to an offense that resembles what Heupel usually runs.

--Joe Milton's default state is to be a Peyton-esque statue type QB but he's finally running and him running is helping an inconsistent/weak OL.

--Milton must keep running if we're to have a chance to set things right.

---Our OL is inconsistent as hell. It's not that they're bad at pass pro or run blocking. It's that they will play well enough at both but then simply whiff at random.

--We need our starting center Cooper Mays back badly.

--We still have a ton of issues but overall I was happy with what I saw on Saturday. A lot of questions were answered by both Milton and the coaches and the play calling finally looked right. It was the first game all season where our offense looked like it should.

Wasn't that the record from what Harsin got Auburn in his last season?

We will not make the playoffs.

I hope we can make a bowl game.
We need the extra practices.

UGA is sleep walking through this season treating these games like preaseason. Injuries are a valid concern.

Bowers is the x factor for the entire UGA offense. Something happens to him, they are done. No game breakers at any of the skill positions.

Defense is also questionable. No dominant interior lineman leaves less margin for error. 110th in sacks with all that olb talent.

UGA is never about sacks.

1) the average QB release time against UGA is 2.2 seconds (good luck with sack).

2) if UGA can control the line of scrimmage with 3 or 4 on the line of scrimmage, we will win. We earn our sacks by creating 3rd and long.

3) Warren Brinson is proving to be a difference maker on the interior DL. He is getting about 4-5 QB pressures per game.

It doesn't matter. But we played UAB without Mykel Williams or his backup (Tyrian Ingram Dawkins).

We have been building depth against these cupcake games. You normally like the score 30-0 at half time to get the depth in. We are doing so by missing 6 starters and a handful of key backups. It is the same net result.

If they would change the rule to give the offense 3 downs instead of 4, I think we would be going to the ship.

Since they probably won’t change that rule, we will be in a lot of shootouts, winning most but likely dropping a game or 2 more.

We will make it to less than twenty four hours from October and haven't given up on the season Couldn't say that last year.

We could go as low as 7-5 or as high as 10-2.

8-4 or 9-3 being most likely.

Entire SEC is up for grabs.

Folks were tore up over the lack of sacks early last year. UGA doesn’t rack up sacks because opposing coaches have instilled in their QBs head to get rid of the ball QUICK or get sacked. We don’t get home often but we apply serious pressure every snap forcing bad throws and all manner of ill shite. Anyone would prefer UGAs defense the last few years to a sack machine that gave up 30 points a game because QBS were comfortable in the pocket.

We don't have SEC caliber talent, and it shows. We have some really good players in areas. But a lot of our players would be exceptionally great fits playing for Boise State.

The bad news... We're really beat up. We got to get some players healthy if we're gonna really make another title run down the stretch.

Luckily you won’t play a ranked team until November so you have plenty of time to keep practicing and letting players rest up.

It isn't automatic.
But like every season, we have a good chance to develop some championship calibre depth.

It is weird how we have played the past 2.3 seasons without our best wide receiver.
But then again, our injuries never matter.

Still think 6-6 plus or minus 1.

Our game this year is going to be a sickos committee to rival Iowa/Iowa State.

2008 Saban would fire 2023.

No motivation on the sidelines and having the folded arms

Don't think it was height either, but they showed a graph on TV. Ark had a bunch of 6ft4 receivers and a 6ft7 one.
