Would be a great hire. He’s won everywhere and is an innovative offensive mind (which is what we need)

Someone mentioned hartline from OSU, I think he could be good as well

The real question is whether HY has started determining who is a realistic coaching candidate. I'm not optimistic there.

I’m not at all bullish on Yurachek.
Given that Pittman was his hire, I have a feeling he’s going to get stubborn about Pittman and double down on him, similar to Long’s purported unwillingness in 2017 to fire Bert.

We need someone who is young and innovative that knows how to use free agency.
Dan Lanning, but he is locked up with Nike money, learned to recruit under Saban then Kirby.

What is the buyout? That’s the real question.
He was supposed to be nothing more than a stop gap coach and we paid him like a serious candidate.

The time is after this season because it will get ugly if they don't tell him to retire.
He could have a positive reputation with the fans if he would just retire after the Missouri game.
I expect him not to drag it out like Nutt did.

He could still get the limelight treatment. Bring him to tailgates, hell give him a radio show.
But if he doesn’t pull this airplane out of a nose dive and stays for next year or more, he will be hated, and no one wants that for him.

Arkansas doesn't have any balls and never learn from past mistakes.
The real challenge for Sam isn't winning or losing but keeping the team from quitting.
They folded under adversity after 4th and inches.

If we don’t fire Pittman after this year, we need to fire a Enos and throw the bank at Lebby to come here as OC.
I’d bet he can be lured from OU after they publicly pantsed him over simply having Art at a game. That can’t be sitting well with him.
Hell we had Art’s kid as our OC for 3 years. I doubt our media would raise an eyebrow for having his son-in-law.

Because of the unique challenges of the job we’d have to overpay to get a coach with options. HY isn’t going to do that. That leaves unproven coaches or guys with baggage.

I remember when Sam was interviewed just when the half was over and was asked about the Jefferson fumble.
He said it wasn't a big deal. Well Sam it is a big deal because those same players still remember the PTSD of the Chad years and know when it doesn't go your way, just quit.
This is why coaching matters so much at Arkansas and Sam just has no idea what players he has or what to do with them.
His facial expressions is a question mark and that isn't good for this team.

The fault belongs to the Arkansas brass, long before Yuracheck was here.
The job is so bad that the options was high risk coaches or coordinators with no head coaching experience.
That leaves Arkansas scrapping at the bottom of the barrel.

It wouldn't matter what OC comes here if Enos is fired.
If Sam is stubborn and stays another year then no OC is going to risk being unemployed coming here.
Sam made his coordinator changes, it's his time to do something or get out of the way.
