He did though, did you listen to his postgame interview?

It doesn't mean that things are magically going to change but he did bring it up and said the we have to improve. He said something along the lines of this team will be much better prepared against BYU.

To me it just came as coach speak trying to take responsibility but if you wanted to hear that, he gave it to you.

My very first takeaway from the game was O-line needs to improve. I'm not ignoring anything. I'm also not completely blowing it out of proportion.

Meanwhile you're complaining about lines that provided some of the best rushing attacks in the nation the last couple of years. One of us is certainly an ostrich.

I saw it and was not happy about it, my other buddy watching felt the same way. I have also seen so much football in general and know that things do change as the season progresses. Not always in a good way either.

I remember not that long ago how bad we looked against Rice and that turned into a surprising 9 win season. I just don't care to overact this early in the season. Just like if we win by 30 this weekend, I don't really think it means too much yet.

Dude. Everyone, everyone acknowledges that we need better play from the O line. Honestly, we need better play from the D line too. But trying to warm Pittman's seat up, when half of us were saying "frick it let's just shutter the football program" 3 years ago, is just so Arkansas.

Maybe you guys need to calm down, never have I said shutter the program or fire the coach. I said he needs to fix it, and quit being a pussy and answer the questions that are asked instead of being baby about it.

Watch where the ball is. It’s more on the receivers pulling in bad passes.

That's fair. We certainly did have a star-studded, All-SEC receiving room last year.

How about this:

Bobby Petrino had a 67% winning percentage at Arkansas, after following a coach who had a 61% winning percentage.

Sam Pittman has a 53% winning percentage after following a coach who had an 18% winning percentage.

There were aspects of Petrino's teams that simply didn't work, mostly on defense but even on offense against the better defensive teams. Can you imagine for a second calling Petrino out, saying he needs to fix his shite or be gone? Obviously Petrino had better success than Pittman has, but Petrino wasn't exactly picking up the pieces of a shattered program, where Pittman absolutely was.

Sam had it worse but Petrino had to play plenty of freshmen in 2008.

I gave up my season tickets after the 2016 season.

No one wanted to hold Bert accountable and his boss kept talking about integrity after the Missouri and Virginia Tech losses.

I dropped them just in time when the real fun began.

Dude, one of us is obtuse... Is it me? IDK man. Yep, he mouthed at a bitty biddy, who pressed too far imho... And then Pittman later explained the process, and agreed that they were trying to make it better.

Do you want him to sacrifice a close relative for penance?

I dropped after 16 as well. Picked back up last year with a couple uppers and now with the oldest a freshman on the hill we figured we might as well dump money back into the program. Last Saturday was very nuttish. It reminded me of Utah State in 2006 i think. Something like 20-3.

Absolutely, but the coach before Petrino was 75-48, the coaches before Pittman were 37-61, with a total of 4 wins in the previous 2 years. Honestly, I think that's why Kiffin crawfished out on us. Rebuilding our shitshow would have tarnished his reputation too much.

That was before he checked himself into Saint Nick’s rehabilitation clinic, wasn’t it? We had plenty of people hoping he was the guy when Pittman was hired.

Kiffin still has a bad reputation, that is why he is stuck at Ole Miss.

He probably wanted more money to his buyout and Yuracheck didn't agree with it.

Rumors were swirling around that Yuracheck wasn't playing games with Jimmy Sexton.

So both parties moved on.

Arkansas had nothing to lose by hiring Kiffin but it was obvious he didn't want the job bad enough.

True, but I still believe Sam had better overall depth than Petrino. Like Chad or not he recruited really well. Petrino did have that awesome freshman class though and a transfer 5 star QB. I would like to know the blue chip break down of when both started.

I’ve never called for Sam to be gone, I called for him to fix the line or replace the guy running them at most. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.

And to that, we all called for Petrino to fire his DC every first half of every game. But then they would go into the locker room. Petrino was the king of half time adjustments. Then we still called for them to get rid of the DC just about every game.

Sam was a good stop gap, well the gap has stopped, especially if we get manhandled by every SEC defensive line.

Then I said I don’t think Sam is a long term solution.

I want him to do a part of his job that he has neglected for over 3 years and if he can’t do that then he needs to retire.

All of these statements of yours infer that you did.

Every coach has things to fix, with a few seasonal exceptions for a couple of other coaches. In our best years with Petrino there was shite than needed fixed. Nobody was telling him to fix his shite or quit.
