But the premiere program in the SEC should never let itself get blasted by 20 runs in the finals of the College World Series.

Bizarre sport where the “best team in the nation” can be handed an absolute arse whoopin like this in the playoffs

Was an arse whopping. We punted in the 5th and showed the world just how bad our bullpen is lmao.
Gators definitely got the momentum hoping we can give a better performance tomorrow!

man yall are making a big deal out of something that means nothing. They pitched their worst after it got to a point. Yeah they could have won at 7-3, but they also would have burned up real pitching trying.

The SEC premier baseball program came back and returned the favor by breaking single game hit record lol

Don’t sell yourself short. You’re ignorant about a lot more than just college baseball.

Should have just stopped there

Only one of those pitchers from the 4th inning on had thrown a pitch in the postseason and I think he only threw 6.

I mean, it's not like Bama football lost by 28 points in the NC game or anything like that.
At least you admitted to your ignorance. It's always to first step to getting help.

Typical Alabama fans on this board. You got handed a 22-burger and it ended your season. Your previous head coach believed in his team so much he literally bet against them.
Go stick your heads in toilets and flush.

Ack had the game of his life against Tennessee. He wasn't as sharp against UF, and our fielders namely Thompson made errors that extended innings and led to a grand slam that pretty much put the game out of reach. At that point we threw Collins, Little, and Dutton, some of our worst bullpen guys just to eat innings and outs to get the game over with and save our better pitching for the next day. Johnson didn't care what the score would end up being because at the end of the day whether it was 2-1 or 30-1 or 24-4 it only counts as 1 win.
LSU came back today with their better pitchers that they saved, and UF was spent, and it showed. The batters stepped up and the fielders were much cleaner as well. They play 2/3 for a reason. This isn't football.
Maybe as a Bama fan you'd educate yourself. Bama was the 1 seed in 97 and beat LSU in 3/5 games in the regular season/SECT including a 28-2 beatdown. When the CWS final came around LSU won 13-6. History remembers LSU winning the title, not Bama beating them 28-2 in one game.

1997 LSU lost to Bama 28-2 in regular season. A month later they beat Bama for the College World Series National Championship
