And UVA doesn't get more than they get?

Or that Tenn loses millions of dollars?
The expense column varies a lot from year to year, particularly when schools are involved in huge sports related construction.
UGA really needs to do something with their basketball arena. When they do, they'll have a negative hit to expenses for an extended period.
UGA made a lot of big investments in minor sports facilities in the 90's when Charles Knapp was president. Because of that we've needed to spend relatively little for quite a long time as they've held up pretty well.
For example, the Ramsey/SPACE center pool was top 10 in the nation facility wise for a long time. It's probably in the 10-20 range now, but that's still pretty solid for a 30 year old facility that we haven't had to spend much money on.

UGAs profit makes sense since they only invest in like 3 sports
That's 2 too many.

Folks in Louisiana have their priorities right! Second highest poverty rate, 26th in population density but 6th on this list. Gotta admire that right there...

I mean if life around you sucks out loud, you might as well have good sports teams.

Ohio State being #1 is no surprise. The cream always rises to the top.

I have been a Rifle supporter for decades
Glad they are having the success in Rifle
Just wish they were having similar success in basketball

I assume ND would be top 10 (or even top 5) if this included private schools?
Looks like $215 mil in revenue according to the Athletic.
