Well he learned under Coach Paul Marinara so I’m not suprised. CPM was known for leaving pitchers in wayyy too long.

No you’re correct, he should have been taken out 3 batters before they did. All on coaches there, period.

Slow game in the middle innings but both games today were really fun the last several. Neither TCU or Virginia typically blow leads late. Two HRs in the bottom for UF were strong. You would think UVA would have some kind of shut down guy. Can't walk and then hit a batter in clutch situations like that. I've always like O'Connor (I guess because he is the top guy in the statue out front when he played at Creighton). But, he almost appeared confused when they showed him in the bottom when they couldn't get the outs.

The real issue as far as I can tell was UVA burning two of their strongest pitchers to face four batters in the 7th inning. That makes sense if you have crazy bullpen depth but since they clearly don’t, it was a massive mistake.

It's a race for 2nd place and Oral Roberts is showing up nicely! My Gators are just not a party school anymore these days. Bunch of damn Poindexters.

Really? This tells me that Tennessee fans know a marketing ploy when they see one. 5 dollars per Jell-O shot and the bar keeps 3/5ths? A fool and his money are soon parted, and I did enough foolishness in my Navy days. Want to help a food bank? Directly contribute and cut out the middleman.
