Saw this posted on twitter. I think Pearl money is where he needs to be but IF he were to make a run to the final 4 this year, Should he be in Self territory?

$6 million at a minimum. Probably more. He needs to be at a number where only a few in the NCAA could chase him.

No more than 5M imo, especially the way this season turned out compared to the expectations. He needs to get past the Elite 8 to really deserve a big raise.

5 seems about right. Pearl and Barnes are still more accomplished coaches

5 mil. We have underperformed this year save for the last 2 games

I wouldn’t trade him for any coach on that list.

Between $5-6 million, IMO. The dude is an elite post-season coach and you don't stumble across those very often.

5.5 mil seems like a fair salary.
He wins a Natty then that's a different number

At least 5 mil. He’s better than the coaches ahead of him making more.

More than Sam Pittman.

Once again A&M is getting fleeced

I'd say 5.5. That's puts him on par with the highest paid SEC coaches. The only 3 above him would be Natty winners.

$5.6 just behind Izzo. Natty gets a $1million bonus and raise.
Or whatever it takes to keep him. Maybe kids will see how shite works out when they finally listen to him and get their shite together earlier. Hopefully we can build a base with guys that stay and fill in the gaps with transfers and high schoolers. Would love to see one of his teams in their second year without a shite ton of turnover.
ETA-who do we think stays and goes from current team? Obviously Smith, Black, Council gone. Kamani out of eligibility. Any word on Ford, Pinion, Dunning jr etc. Think Devo returns?

Some are saying Pinion and Ford will return but who knows? I assume Dunning is for sure gone.

If ford leaves it’s because muss asked him too. He was told before the season when he committed that he probably wouldn’t play much this year

Jesus, if he was making 3.8 at Providence how much did Georgetown pay to get Cooley?
If we lose to UConn Muss should get a raise to 4.6. FF should be 5.25, title 6+.
