Should he really be making more than someone who has multiple nattys

I say hell no

This is a results-oriented business, not a potential-oriented business

Two lines of thought here.

Yours, which I do not agree or disagree with. And the other.

Which is, ARE YOU NUTS. However... If we pay him market, it is fine as long as we keep up with the market. Being a Arkansas fan for years, we often do not do such.

So, Pay him like he is the king of our world and nobody else comes knocking.

KY may come after him, or others. I honestly do not see him leaving for KY however.

I’d probably do $5m with over $250k bonus per round of the ncaa tournament. And $1m for winning.

Other bonuses, $250-500k for a top 5 class.

That’s $7.5m for winning the ncaa tournament and landing a top class

Cant really put this into a contract in the age of the transfer portal. The services are worse at ranking the transfers than they are the recruits.

True, but I like smaller base contracts, but with large bonus. Fed people aren’t hungry, IMO.

He should be making more than Sam who has done nothing.

Muss could go back to back final fours and still be less paid than Sam.

He should be paid what Barnes and Pearl are paid, maybe a tad more. Show him the appreciation up front and he wouldnt be tempted by anyone else with offers

I would say no.

$3.5m base
$500k per win in NCAAT
Double the years pay upon winning the natty for that season

3.5 for not winning any games in March is more than fair
4.5m for where we are right now is still elite pay
5.5 for final four
13m for a natty seems fair. Our donors would cover that

Yea because when Texas, Kentucky, and possibly Kansas come calling him this year or next we can always go hire Anderson to come back and take over.

You put him at the top if we win it all.

5.6 seems like a good price and he'd be right behind Izzo.

We need Muss to retire here.

He's the best coach we've had in a long time.

You HAVE to pay the man, because others will.

The top programs will have no problem throwing a chunk at him considering how well he plays the transfer game. With the way things are nowdays, he can take a top program to S16 or better in year 1.
