Imagine if we had Josh Hubbard instead of Holloway! Was there any sign he would crumble?

I’ve always thought Bruce was able to see ability, but we’ve have a few basketball flops that didn’t live up to the expectations.

There have been way more hits than misses

That’s great to know.. my forte isn’t basketball. I’m just an orange/blue blooded fan!

I agree, more hits than misses but getting a top 3 position PG that turned into an actual pumpkin is shocking.

Until 1984, this was true.

The last 5 years is the best it’s ever been for AU basketball.

Winning SECT twice, regular season twice, final 4.

1983-1990 or so was really good.

Porter and Cliff Ellis.
Marquis Daniel.

We’ve had moments, but it’s nice to start stacking tournament invites.

Way more for sure, but the past couple of years have been a few big misses in a row, so I can see why people have those thoughts. I'm really hoping signing with Nike gets us back to signing a couple future NBA players a year.

Should the SEC get rid of the SEC tournament and the football sec championship game?

No but they should end the SEC tourney on Saturday. It would help the committee actually pay attention to it for seeding and give extra day of rest. We had a quick turnaround emotionally from winning the SEC tourney to traveling about as far as possible from home to play again.

Dillingham and the Creighton kid Alexander were recruited heavily by Bruce, but each made their decision.

We need to be Nike.
They are on the great kids early.

My post had nothing to do with Yale. It was about the hindrance of playing a conference tournament final on Sunday. Either way, I wouldn’t compare playing South Carolina, MSU and Florida to playing Cornell and Brown.

Why? Do you think their guys had to work any less? They were playing with the pressure of having to win to even get in the tournament. Nobody played less minutes than our guys. There is zero excuse for losing to Yale and the more we make the more embarrassing it is.

Yeah they worked less. They played one less game

But again, that wasn’t the point of my initial post. Of course we should beat Yale.

Fair enough but their main guys played more minutes in two games than ours did in three.

I don’t give a shite what anyone tries to spew on this board or on Twitter or any of the socials…. This was a very good team that had a very good season. Not great but very good. Disappointing end but if we lost in the sweet 16 it would have been a disappointing ending. I like the direction. Where anything other than a final 4 is somewhat of a disappointment.

Finally we are relevant!!

The tournament is amazing because of teams like Yale beating teams like Auburn the one shot they get. Sucks to be on the losing end of it but it happens to everybody at some point. But you should never overreact to one game even if it’s the game that ends your season.

The reality is that literally anything can happen in one game. It blows but it doesn’t change that this is a top 25 basketball program which is absolutely insane.

Woah there, some rando with a podcast said we should fire Bruce and press charges against CBM. Have you considered that?
