Just thinking ahead to next year..

Tre/Pettiford at PG

Denver/ Transfer at SG

CBM/ Jahki Howard at SF

Big time transfer/Chaney at PF

C is a big question.. Broome and Cardwell can both come back, but I don't think either will.. so we will need 2 big time transfers there if that's the case. I don't see any reason to bring KD back, we need a shooter, and Aden just flat out isn't good enough.

how do you think we lost to Yale other then the officials?

every time we would stretch the lead, we would turn the ball over on multiple consecutive trips. We couldn't hit a FT when we needed it. Two or three consecutive times we missed the front end of a one-and-one........for starters. This loss is on our players not stepping up when we needed them.

ETA CBM not being on the floor the entire game hurt also.

No guard penetration, too many fouls, inconsistent FT shooting, low IQ basketball, CBM being a clown, our guys being soft af when it gets tight

CBM getting tossed cost us the game

14 turnovers
Missed free throws
Dumb fouls (that were legit)
Holloway 0-8
Sloppy D which goes back to the dumb fouls.

They damn near had 4 guys in double figures

Next year will be no different. We are what we are. We hit gold once, but out of control play, poor free throw shooting, weak guard play...it is the rule and not the exception.

Like many I was convinced the stars were coming together like 2019, but I won't be fooled again.

In the end yes, but even being at a point where we needed to knock down critical free throws against Yale is a problem.

That was a function of officiating, We were not allowed to play our style of defense and guard hard. The game started 10-2 us and we were smothering them. CBM tossed, it was stupid but to eject for that was horse shite, after that whistles all over the place.

Yale was suppose to be the team that struggled from the line. They were more clutch. Played smarter and won when they were out matched on paper.

Aden has been bad all but one game. His back up almost willed us to a W tonight. He rebounded and actually made some shots.

Idiots blaming reffing.

That game was all on the players not executing. Auburn won’t do anything in the tournament until they get better guards.

Hope he transfers. I see no dog in him. Pgs will be a dime a dozen in the Portal. Can pick one up and save a lot of NIL to use on a big man and another scorer

Yeah my expectations have been in check all season because of this, but I did not see us losing to Yale.
