ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter was nine pounds heavier than he was at the NFL combine about two weeks ago and couldn't finish his position drills at Georgia's pro day on Wednesday.
Carter, who was once considered a potential No. 1 pick in April's draft, weighed 323 pounds at the pro day. He opted to do only position drills and didn't participate in other aspects of the workout, including the 40-yard dash, cone drills and other physical tests. Carter didn't finish the position drills because he was cramping up and breathing heavily.
This dude’s draft stock has to be plummeting

All part of the plan to fall to the Bears at 9

You mean too much winning in him. Not sure how having too much GA in him translates to something bad with all those trophies

Well, I mean, we've all been there

Sure seems like Georgia’s who got the best out of him.

If he wants to waste his potential earnings, as he is clearly doing, that’s on him.

Embarrassing for the rest of the conference that they let this slow, fat boy whoop their asses for the past 2-3 years.

Also, perhaps Carter has just let himself go to shite since the accident and winning the natty:

Carter's draft stock has dropped after he was arrested for his alleged role in a Jan. 15 car wreck in Athens that killed Georgia offensive lineman Devin Willock and recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy.
Honestly, I probably wouldn't be very motivated either in his position. Survivor's guilt is a bitch and it's always hard to get motivated right after the season is over and you finish on a big high like winning the natty.

You bring nothing of value to this board

It sounds like he had a lot more than football on his mind the last couple of months. This is unfortunate for him. I don’t know all the facts of his legal problems but he better get his head out of his arse and realize there are consequences to stupid decisions. I guess we will find out about the guy’s character in the next couple of months. He’s no longer a UGA problem as his career was over and the accident happened after the national championship so I couldn’t give a shite how fat he is that’s on him.

Yeah as long as there aren't any obvious other issues I'd be happy to take him if he falls. Like if the Falcons could get him with their pick? Hooooahhh Boy. The potential is worth the risk. The Cowboys had to hire a staff to follow Dez Bryant around for a while there, do it with this guy if you have to.
