This isn’t a bad schedule for lsu, but I’d much rather have Florida instead of any of the other three. That’s also because i attended lsu from 05-09 and our biggest competition every year seemed to be Auburn and Florida.
These pairing aren’t terrible and appear to be pretty well balanced overall, it’s just not what I expected.

Lmao if you’re scared, just say you’re scared
LSU usually wins against A&M and Ole Miss, and in the 4 years this century they played for a national title, they beat Alabama; they're going to be in the mix anyway. And with the new playoff format of 12 teams, I think strength of schedule will be important... you are better at 10-2 with Bama on board, than without.

Nothing against vandy but I doubt they care about us either
The thing is, no one in the SEC really “cares” about us - at best we are tolerated :)
So screw it, Vandy is a great road trip that’s an easy drive from St Louis. Let’s MAKE them start caring about us (I mean, as much as a Vandy fan can care about football, anyway)

I would be OK with Missouri being our third game. The series has been good and your fans are some of the best behaved when they come to Lexington.
But Kentucky has series with Tennessee and Vanderbilt both that go back to the 1890s. They absolutely must be 2 of our 3.

Florida with Oklahoma as a permanent is just weird. No, it's just seems forced and stupid. It should be Tennessee or Kentucky or even LSU.

Arkansas OU is much bigger than Mizzou OU

Swap out A&M with Florida for LSU. That’s such a fun rivalry. The Aggie’s are useless

Was hoping we'd get OU due to the close proximity. I think that would've turned into a big rivalry game down the line if we are competitive.

Wrong. Kentucky is Vandy's second most played game
sports reference
Edit: apparently sports reference is wrong, but the Vandy official stats book has OM game being played 96 times while the Kentucky game has been played 94 times. LINK

I always mark my calendar for that huge Auburn-Vandy rivalry.

Giving auburn vandy definitely helps balance having UGA and Bama every year. Talk about min/maxing

Everybody has to face the fact that it gets harder to get to atlanta with every team added IMO

Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and South Carolina were the three teams I was okay with being Mizzou’s third permanent rival (besides OU & Arkansas). Not going to lie though, having a game in Nashville every other year will be awesome. I love that city.

I'd have rather had Arkansas than Florida, Norman and Fayetteville are the closest campuses to each other and that should be a rivalry. I don't mind Florida, as it puts us in the Florida recruiting grounds every other year.

Yeah these “rivalry” games they create are stupid aTm and Ole Miss make a ton of sense for LSU. Alabama LSUbis what it is now but in 5 yrs it won’t matter like it has the last 15 because Saban will have retired. Some of these rivalry games going to the wayside sucks. It’s what makes college football different than the NFL.

Yeah I don't think any UF fan is mad about playing OU annually, it just doesn't make any sense. Auburn is the closest SEC school to us and was played annually for like 85 years until 2003.
Seeing a big game in Norman is definitely a bucket list item though.

Game day in Norman is disappointing. My nephew attends school there, so I've gone up to visit him and watch some games. I was expecting a lot more as far as atmosphere.
