Thorn hesitates to throw quick outs and slants. By the time he decides to throw it, it’s not there.

I think a lot of that too was the receivers not getting separation on the quick outs. He definitely second guessed a lot of his throws

Once again, we know bag dropping season is coming, so I have a hard time believing anything is set in stone at the moment. Keeping us in play is very much in Ryan's favor as it will dramatically drive up Bama's NIL offer.

The down side for Ryan is that wherever he ends up going, he's being paid for Heisman level impact. If he doesn't deliver that, no team is going to have patience with him. This is the side of outgoing transfers that we don't see. If a player is being paid to have an impact, but only flashes potential then they are probably told to take less money or go elsewhere. Fans will be disappointed while coaches see wasted NIL dollars getting freed up.

Of course, he also apparently thought we were going to get Bolden, so untimely that means nothing.
Bolden had told Freeze he was coming to Auburn two days before he went to UGA. That one stung for sure. We have our best on Williams though so we will see. Still confident we get him

If we don’t do jack shite with two 5* receivers who are already signed, I don’t know what we could do with 3. End of the day we want players who want to play for us so that should be a factor. NIL cuts both ways as you mentioned.

The next couple of years are going to be nuts with players demanding money to play. But they forget that coaches have the ultimate power to allow them on the field and recruit other pieces around to actually showcase their skills and increase their NIL worth.

Ultimately there will be some sort of a balance or some rules in place or the whole thing will just implode. Just remember that the people with the best lawyers usually get their way and absent a players union and salary cap rules because there are no salaries now, it will become hard for them to bargain or sue if they feel they have been wronged.

While it sucks to lose out on any top guy to Bama, at least this isn’t a situation where we desperately needed him to join this class. Kind of wild that we’re in a situation that losing out on a 5* receiver doesn’t seem like a big deal, but with the four we already signed it’s just hard for me to be too concerned about it. Now if he were an OT, DT, or talented transfer QB I would probably have pretty different feelings about it

Exactly where I am at. Right now when Freeze said the incoming DL are going to get playing time....he wasnt kidding

Been saying this about any good portal WR for over a month now. So far, we’ve only gotten a Ga State and QB that played WR his sophomore year of high school.

Someone needs to go write on the wall of the football facility. I nominated Jang, he seems like he'd be ok with light vandalism

I watched a Maryland game the season before last, and commented to how it's sad that even Maryland has a QB that is capable of the forward pass that Auburn has yet to accomplish

Taulia is all Miami. It’s the only reason he entered the portal and is seeking a waiver.

Correct about Miami for Tulia. The JMU QB McCloud, Salter, UNLV QB and maybe one other name I'm forgetting are options.

It just so happens he has a really good QB friend in the portal.

Will go out on a limb and guess his price is too high. We have to pursue the JMU or UNLV type
