Could Judkins for Jarquez be the first official trade of college football??
(although certainly underwhelming and much cheaper a deal)

We got ripped on that trade

Unfortunately, I’m losing confidence that we’ll ultimately land Ryan Williams

While it sucks to lose out on any top guy to Bama, at least this isn’t a situation where we desperately needed him to join this class. Kind of wild that we’re in a situation that losing out on a 5* receiver doesn’t seem like a big deal, but with the four we already signed it’s just hard for me to be too concerned about it. Now if he were an OT, DT, or talented transfer QB I would probably have pretty different feelings about it ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Chex, this is for correctly predicting Perry Thompson to AU.

Having 2 explosive WR's changes the offense immediately. If a WR is good enough to be open or winning 50/50 balls consistently the defense will naturally double cover by pulling a safety. That will leave the other WR available for 1 on 1 throws. That alone will be enough to win games as the passing threat will also open the run game and force the LBs to stop the run threat.
Now imagine if you have 3 explosive WR's. Makes scheming the offense a whole lot easier when you've got guys open downfield.

This. Let me put it this way. Based on what I’ve heard, I believe 100% that Freeze thinks we’re going to get Williams.
Of course, he also apparently thought we were going to get Bolden, so untimely that means nothing.

Last year I bet Thorne and the WRs didn't complete 65% of passes in practice playing against no defense.
Wrs who can catch quick outs and slants might alleviate some of the pressure the o line has to face every play and give Thorne some time.
